. What do I view as both Frog Aides and specifically the director’s role to be within SGA? My hope is for Frog Aides to continue on its path to becoming completely accepted and respected by the SGA community. Thanks to past Directors who paved the way, I believe this is a realistic goal. By partnering with SGA and those who hold Student Body positions, I hope to expose the incoming cohort to all that SGA has to offer. My overall goal as Director is to help launch each individual Frog Aide into whatever leadership opportunity arises for them after this program. Whether that is being in House, running for a Student Body Position, or any position in an on-campus organization. Coming into college, I was intimidated by those who so eagerly sought out a position within SGA. I was unware of what SGA really did and was thrown by the people who were so willing to jump in with both feet. Due to this, I was initially turned off to being super involved. However, as my second year here at TCU comes to a close, I find myself on the opposite side of my initial stance. I now see and love what SGA is all about. From being a part of the 'It’s On Us’ campaign, to tabling during the Mental Health Awareness Week, to helping with Abbey’s Presidential campaign, my love for this campus and SGA’s goal of making sure each student’s voice is heard has grown …show more content…
What makes me unique, though, is my intense passion and commitment for this program, my knack to see the bigger picture and ideas from numerous angles, and my ability to motivate everyone and anyone. In addition to these qualities, I am very empathetic and can remain calm during times of chaos. My passion for this program overflows into every other aspect of my life. I talk about Frog Aides and how the program has helped me become a better leader almost every single day. There is not another program, in my opinion, that deserves the same about of praise as I give Frog Aides. My desire to see this program flourish and thrive over the next few years is a huge asset. I will work hard to make this next year of Frog Aides the best it can possibly be. I will not settle or get lazy with my responsibilities, but will remained determined to do all that I can for the program. When it comes to planning spring semester’s bring project, my ability to focus both on the little details and the big picture will help the project get done.
