[SOURCE: Page: 21, annual report 2005, BTMA]. The primary textile sector (PTS) is meeting the major demand of yarn & fabrics of the local markets. In addition to that a significant part of the demand of fabrics of export oriented RMG units is being met by the PTS. With gradual increase in population and expansion of trade, the demand of fabrics in the domestic markets and in the export oriented RMG unites is increasing very fast. In the year 2003-’04 the demand for fabrics in the domestic and export oriented RMG unites was 5188 million meters. ...The front page of a newspaper is a well thought out extension of the values and themes that the newspaper's staff wishes to communicate to their carefully chosen audience. The most important theme of the front page of a newspaper is what particular region of emphasis the paper borrows its values from. To have a successful front page there must be a streamlining of those values and themes so that the core readers can recognize these specific themes. These themes are communicated through three basic categories that make up a newspaper's front page; the layout, the stories, and the aim of the advertising of those stories. The front pages that I have chosen to analyze show three different aims for their region of emphasis; the New York Post, Hartford Courant, and Boston Globe. The first aspect of each front page that I noticed was the layout, and it is obvious that the Post takes a drastically different course than the other two. Their arrangement has one story with a very large color picture and even larger white lettering than the picture. There are no links to any other stories elsewhere in the paper except the feature story however on the first page in there is a more traditional front page layout. But there is also a reason that this front page should be visible on the outside and it relates to the aim of the paper. It is obvious that the Post wishes to grab its readers' attention with this type of layout. The Courant and the Globe have a similar layout with a large color...

...I intend to create a personal website. Basically, the website will be about myself. At the front page, I want to put in a large picture of me, a brief “about me” and “my belief” with some other several links to other pages in which contain the information related to me. I will set the front page as the “home page” so every time, someone clicks in “Home”, it will directly lead to the front page, so they can have a quick glance about me. The second page will be the “Biography”, in which, I will put in the pictures of me in order of time, since I was a child, high school time, and so on. There will be a brief summary biography of me going along with the pictures I put in. I will also put in the achievements in that page and the links to the schools I have attended and the companies I have worked for. The third page will be about what I am doing right now, what company I am working for and what projects I have. There will be a bit more details on my projects for everybody to understand what I am doing. The fourth page will be about “Finance” which is the field I have studied and working on. I will explain what Finance is about and why I chose Finance to be my career job. The fifth page will be “Books & Movies”, in which I will put in my favorite Books & Movies. There will be also my thoughts and the implications of those books and movies in my life. Last but not least, the last page will be contact information for those who want to contact me. ...people on the happenings in their community, country and around the world. The front page of a newspaper is very important in facilitating this. It is through the front page that people may decide to purchase or not purchase this media. It does this by trying to grab readers’ attention; whether through a shocking headline, usage of large bold prints, mixture of colours and pictures accompanying articles. For this assignment we evaluated the articles on the front page of a newspaper, The Freeport News, and conducted a survey among readers of this newspaper. From the survey we found that even though The Freeport News is a daily newspaper the majority of its readers view it monthly (37%), weekly (33%) and biweekly (20%) while only ten percent read it daily. In addition, 70% of them do not read the entire issue but only some of it and only 50% of them read it to be informed. Some of the other reasons for reading this newspaper were to be aware of local advertisements and sales (13%) and to be entertained (3%). Also, the majority of the readers (90%) feel that the articles in this newspaper are clear, easy to follow and do not show any political biases. Furthermore, they feel this media does an effective job of covering the most current local and national news; however, most of the readers (70%) feel it needs to improve on international news coverage. The Freeport News edition for September 19th 2013 front page highlighted three stories. The first article, which was the main story, focused...

...launched their new Insights analytics for pages in June 2013. The rollout has replaced the old system gradually from this point, with a more modern-looking platform with more available data. Facebook Insights is a really useful system to understand the more basic elements of your social media analytics requirements. However, if you do want to pull out reams of data purely on your page, Facebook Insights does have its uses. There are six main tabs containing data on your Likes, Reach, Visits, Posts, and People, as well as an Overview tab covering some headline figures. There is also the ability to download extensive spreadsheets containing all of this data broken down by day at a page or post content level. This data is useful, but can be quite time consuming to analyse and comprehend, as well as not having that critical context of comparing it to other pages. If you’re new to Facebook as a business, we’d definitely recommend exploring Insights and seeing what is there for yourself as a first step. Our recommendation would be to not stop there though in your quest to truly understand your performance. FACEBOOK INSIGHTS Facebook Insights covers some of the key metrics mentioned below and contains both public and private metrics; however, it’s one major flaw is that it doesn’t include any real data to compare to on the public metrics, especially in terms of other companies. Insights has a new element where you can compare your page demographics against the Facebook average...
