Fruit of the Loom headquarters are in Bowling Green Kentucky. It was founded in 1851. It is owned by Berkshire Hathaway. The company is one of the largest manufacturers it markets men’s, boy’s, women’s, and girls underwear. They also do T-shirts and fleece, casual wear, and women’s jeans wear. Fruit of the Loom emploees more than 32,000 people world wide. There logo is an apple, leaves, green grapes, currants, and purple grapes. The first thing that I will talk about is what they are planning to do in the next 5 years. The second thing is the upcoming initiative(s) and what the impact of those laws will be. The third thing is the applicable sales, licensing, and e-Commerce laws and what the company will need to take into consideration during their initiative(s). The fourth and final thing will be the recommendations for the company to minimize the threat of lawsuits relating to privacy protection. The product liability, or intellectual property rights.
The first thing is they are going to reduce carbon emissions, such as reducing packaging, recycling and reducing transport distances. The second one is that they are going to start making kids clothes. The third one is that they are going to have more people working for them. The fourth thing is that they are going to try to get people to buy more of there stock so that they can do better. The fifth and final one is that they are going to do is make shoes because they do good with everything else that they make.
For me I think that the notice to the Public and the Adoption. The notice to the public is all the ads in the papers and on T.V. . The other thing is giving free thing to people so they can help you see your things. The Adoption is that they make sure that no body else will take an ad or anything of there’s and change it or leave it the same, but us it for something else of yours. If you work there you can not go around and tell everyone what is going on there. If they mess up on something they don’t start over on it they just go to the next one and later come back to it. A person's beauty, particularly a woman's, is supposed to come from the inside. Yet many women go to exceptional lengths to change their faces and their bodies. "A woman is conditioned to view her face as a mask and her body as an object, as things separate from and become more important than her real self, constantly in need of alteration, improvement, and disguise" (Kilbourne, 2001, p.292). Advertisers want women to try and achieve whatever look is popular and to fail so women will continually spend money on cosmetics and clothes that are not meant for them and so ultimately the products never get used. Advertisers also want women to feel dissatisfied when they look into the mirror. Lancome has an ad in the September 2001 issue of Glamour magazine. It is an advertisement for a new lipstick; the ad's jingle reads Rouge Absolu Creme; the ad then gives a description of the lipstick and underneath the description is the phrase, "Believe in beauty". Does Lancome want women to believe in their own natural beauty? At one time they wanted small woman and now they get big women for there ads.
There is a Fruit of the Loom online shop. You can by things online. The company can control there website from the headquaters in Bowling Green Kentucky. The things on there website is provided in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is subject to the Kentucky laws. It also is applicable by the U.S. Federal Law. They can look at the website from time to time to see if they are still going by the laws. If they are not then they can take them to court over it and get in to trouble big time. They will take you to the court in Warren County Kentucky.
They will have each one of there employees to read and sign a paper that say’s that they will not do or talk about any of the following things: privacy protection, product liability, or intellectual property right. This way they will not get a law suit from some one. The new thing that they are working on will not get to people before they (the company) can tell everyone. People will try to own the plant or make it close down.
I have talked about what the company is going to do in the next five years. The second thing that I talked about was the upcoming initiative(s) and what the impact of those laws would be.
