For as long as I can remember, I have always had an intimate passion with theology and philosophy. As a young teenager still in high school I recall summer days where I would dedicate time to write about theology and philosophy, simply to organize my thoughts. From 2008- 2010 I was a counsellor for the al-Azhar program for Isma’ili youth in the Mississauga area. Historically, al-Azhar draws parallels to the university in Cairo, where during the Fatimid Empire there was a revitalization of philosophy and theology in perfect harmony with science and faith. The program offered a weekly class for Isma’ili youth in grades 11 and 12 in which they were able to engage with their Faith in a modern context. In pre-class development, or lesson planning, our main challenge was to hone in on the key concepts, and articulate them or assist in reinforcing them in a modern context. These hospitals and institutes are continuously developing their services and innovating ideas to make competing even harder. The above mentioned hospitals are main rivals of our stammering club because they are long established brands. PEST ANALYSIS: Economics: Rise in inflation rate contributes in increasing cost of input. This industry involves a lot of fixed cost which would be negatively affecting the industry. Keeping the economic condition in mind this factor will cause decrease in rivalry because many institutes will not be able to cover its cost such as rent, rising electricity cost, cost of specialized equipment used in this business. Political: Legislations and regulations imposed by the government normally affect the industry. But in this industry there are no such governmental regulations that have to be considered. Apart from that the government is in fact supporting this kind of move which would be in betterment of people. ...ABSTRACT This article reports a research study conducted with four chemistry teachers in three high schools (two government schools and one private school) in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The study investigated questions concerning common difficulties high school (Grades 9 and 10) students experience in chemistry classroom, the possible reasons for these difficulties, and the ways in which teachers help students overcome these difficulties. A qualitative case study method was used to investigate the questions, which used in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observation, and postobservation discussion with the teachers, as main data collection tools. The key findings of the study allude to a huge gap between what is intended in the National Curriculum in terms of students’ learning in chemistry and what actually happens in the classroom where students learn chemistry. Promoting in-depth learning appeared to be an uphill task for the teachers. The main hurdle lies in students’ inability to demonstrate a good understanding of very basic concepts of the subject. Despite faced with such a challenge, the teachers appear to be committed to teaching their subject. The implications of the results of the study are explained in the context of schools, teachers, and other educational stakeholders by emphasizing the need for synchronization and integration of efforts on the part of schools. For example, if you make $120 an hour and you can hire someone experienced to mow your lawn for $20 an hour then, you should go ahead and pay for the service instead of doing it yourself. This will leave you free to use your time where you can earn $100 an hour hence create more value for yourself and many others. Of course, you can mow your own lawn, but you will be losing a value of $100, if there is an opportunity to earn $120 an hour and can get someone experienced, who earns $20 an hour to do your lawn.
