Genesis chapters 1-11 teaches us life lessons regarding the natural world, human identity, human relationships, and civilization. Genesis is the beginning of all creation. It is God’s story. Understanding Genesis is key to comprehending the rest of the bible. It tells the story of the beginning of the human race in general and the beginning of the Hebrew race in particular. Hindson, Ed, Yates, Gary, The essence of the old testament: A survey, (Nashville, Tennessee: knowing Jesus ministries and Gary Yates,2012.)51. God is introduced as an absolute being who cares about his creation and the human struggle of the fallen world. Ibd,51

In regards to the natural world, Genesis chapters 1-11 teaches what early Hebrews believed about the creation of the world and the origins of mankind. “What does Genesis 1-11 teach regarding the natural world?” Answers. http://wiki answers. Com/a/what_does_Genesis. It teaches that God is separate from nature and that he created everything in the natural world. It teaches that God created the universe. God created the light and dark, separating the light and dark into day and night. Post, Trent “In the beginning and Beyond.” Genesis/Hades solution.” http://hades 1 solution.wordpress.com/tag/Genesis. 5/23/13. God created the vegetation, sky and the land on the second day. On the third day he created the sun, stars, moon and seasons. Then he went on to create the days, years and animals. On the sixth day he created man. “The lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”(Genesis 2:7).

When it comes to human identity and human relationships, Genesis teaches that man was made in the image of God and that woman was created from man to serve as his companion. Post, Trent “In the beginning and Beyond.” Genesis/Hades solution.” http://hades 1 solution.wordpress.com/tag/Genesis. 5/23/13. God realized that Adam was lonely and in need of a companion, so God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. He then made a woman from one of his rib. (Genesis 2:23) says man said to God “This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, for she was taken out of man.” Man and woman were given the role of theocratic administrators who would co rule God’s creation on his behalf. (Genesis 1:28;2:8-20). The protoevangelium made clear that one day God would send one who would defeat God’s enemy. Ibd,56. This would eventually allow for the restoration of everything to God’s original design and restore God’s position as theocratic administration. Ibd,56. The distressed state of affairs between humans and God is, in turn immediately mirrored in the tormented way humans interact with one another. Beck, Hubert. “The worldwide view of Genesis.” Faith science. http://www.faithscience.org/Articles. Broken relationship with God also show up in broken relationships with humans. In the first two chapters one finds the foundation established for understanding the human as a social creature, the constitution of family as the fundamental social unit and, by extrapolation at least, the basis for community, friendship and the intended linking of humans to one another. Beck, Hubert. “The worldwide view of Genesis.” Faith science. http://www.faithscience.org/Articles.

Genesis teaches us that civilization began with Adam and Eve near the Tigris river in what is now present day Iraq. Post ,Trent “In the beginning and Beyond.” Genesis/Hades solution.” http://hades 1 solution.wordpress.com/tag/Genesis. 5/23/13. In the beginning man and all creatures live with God in the Garden of Eden. But when Adam and Eve tasted the fruit of knowledge, they were separated from God. This caused human depravity, spiritual death and human suffering, which ultimately led to physical death. In chapters 6-9 God destroyed humanity through the flood because the world was so wicked. The flood lasted 371 days, with Noah and his family being the only survivors.

To be honest, I never really knew all the facts of Genesis until I read it a couple of days ago. It made me really understand where we came from as a human race. God was there from the very beginning and everything in this world he created and belongs to him. It tells us how things are intended to be done within the world today. God has our whole lives planned out for us all we have to do is let him lead us. It also taught me the importance of repentance and grace, take the great flood for example, God could have killed Noah and his animals but he didn’t. He could have very well killed Adam and Eve but gave them the ability to create life. This reassures me that the world is infected with sin but the only thing that can save us is the grace of God.

Value Network

...Value Network Analysis and value conversion of tangible and intangible assets Verna Allee Online version of Final Draft Published in Journal of Intellectual Capital Volume 9, No. 1, 2008, pp. 5-24 Verna Allee verna@vernaallee.com Published in Journal of Intellectual Capital Volume 9, No 1, 2008 pp. 5-24 Page 1 of 21 Introduction One of the most important and challenging questions in working with intangibles is, “How do we convert intangible assets such as human knowledge, internal structures, ways of working, reputation, and business relationships into negotiable forms of value?” Value network analysis offers a way to model, analyse, evaluate, and improve the capability of a business to convert both tangible and intangible assets into other forms of negotiable value, and to realise greater value for itself. Underlying this approach is an understanding that intangible, but nonetheless strong and dynamic relationships, and the intangible assets that make up and have an impact on those relationships, are the foundation of any successful business endeavor. Indeed, the future success of a company or organisation as a whole depends on how efficiently a company can convert one form of value into another. An example of value conversion occurs when an intangible asset such as professional expertise is converted into a more negotiable form of value, perhaps in the form of consulting services. The conversion dynamic also applies to value realisation. An example is when...
