Geocaching: A Modern-Day Treasure Hunt
Geocaching has become a widespread hobby of many people in the last few years in numerous countries, including the Czech Republic. It’s almost unbelievable how basically a good-old treasure hunt has overtaken so many people’s free time in this modern era of computers and all sorts of modern technologies, which confide us even more and more inside. However, maybe the growing success of geocaching is based exactly on that premise since it combines the old – spending time outside – with the new – modern technologies. According to an unofficial geocaching handbook “Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunt where you get to play Indiana Jones and search for hidden booty.
