We live in an age where information is freely available. The internet has made that possible, also making cheating a task that is easily accomplished. People download music and movies the same way they can download a term paper. You can download a song, burn it to a CD, and put it in your car and listen to it without any realistic consequences. So why can’t you borrow a few lines from an article and put them in your paper without acknowledging the source? Turns out a lot of students do this.
