Criminal Conduct and Conviction Megan has been adjudicated with runaway and assault charges. She was given an open-ended sentence at Waxter Juvenile Facility.
Criminal History Consistently runs away from foster homes and has been charged with assault in both the first and second degree as well as assault with a deadly weapon.
Personal and Family History Megan’s mother is consistently involved in drugs and prostitution. She started using hard drugs at age 17 and has spent most of her life high or in jail. When Megan was 5 years old she was arrested at witch point Megan and her sisters went into the custody of their grandmother. She lived there until her grandmother gave up. Since then Megan has been through 11 foster homes and ran away from 10 of them. Peers She makes friends with “undesirables” and people that are known to sell drugs.
Physical Health Megan appears to be in good health with no known ailments or standing medical conditions.
Mental Health She seems to be confused about her sexuality, calls herself “weird” meaning that she likes girls instead of boys. Claims to get it from her mom. Otherwise she does not appear to have any issues with her mental health.
Substance Abuse Known to smoke marijuana and take ecstasy.
Education and Vocational Training She never finished high school but wanted to get her GED after being released.
Recommendation Megan needs a positive role model, she strives to not be like her mother but makes many of the same mistakes that she did when she was young. In my opinion Megan should get a “big sister” of sorts that can help her see how to live a better life. She does not seem to react well to authority so this “big sister” would have to take a role almost like a close friend. Not forcing her to do things but encouraging them. Unlike a
