Summary
The artificial language, Globlish, which is discussed in two articles, ‘How much English is enough?’ and ‘It just doesn’t make sense’ written by Jane Cuthbert and Peter Jackson respectively, hold different viewpoints to Globlish. Generally speaking, Cuthbert agrees that Globlish efficiently enables non-English-native speakers to communicate with each other easily, while Jackson claims that Globlish fails to adapt to the complicated situations. However, Cuthbert misses the problems of using accuracy in grammar and expression in Globlish, while Jackson fails to find the pros of the Globlish.

Discussion
According to the first article, Cuthbert asserts that Globlish is beneficial for non-English-native speakers to learn and use. She believes that people can learn the Globish with 1500 words and basic grammar to communicate in a short time, while Jackson argues that the artificial language is not available to use in some specific fields.

Globlish is sufficient to be used by people who only communicate in general way such as general English students, visitors do not use. As an English teacher, Cuthbert shows confidently that Globlish is the best way to support her students to communicate with each other. Besides, those who use Globlish to chat are not stressed, as they are not restrictedly grammar and the rules of pronunciation. Students can communicate with simple sentence structures in a comfortable environment. In terms of this, Cuthbert stays in the positive position to evaluate the advantages of Globlish.

On the other hand, a serious problem mentioned by Jackson is that the aim of Globlish is spreading to various fields such as business communication and business negotiation. As a formal international language, it should have complete grammar systems, sufficient expression formats that can be adapted to more professional fields like intelligent discussions on climate change. Apparently, Globlish lacks of each characteristic, which was mentioned above in the case of Cuthbert.

By contrast, Jackson argues a typical disadvantage of Globlish. He argues that Globlish cannot be used widely because of the lack of cultural background. A defective language tends to cause many misunderstandings and mistakes with little effort. People may be burdened to explain what they try to express with Globlish. In other words, Globlish is not available to use in a higher-level industry. In terms of this case, Jackson points out the limitations of Globlish directly.

However Jackson poses a negative view on Globlish, which is a lack of full vocabulary and complete grammar as a four-year- old child language. It is clear to see that there is a total difference between children and adults’ word. Globlish is hard to adapt to some professional fields; however, it does not mean that it is fully useless. As a simple language, simple vocabulary and basic grammar are sufficient for people communicate with it. It is underestimate that people communicate with complicate sentences just on an ordinary topic. In terms of the point, Jackson seems have restrictive views on Globlish.

In conclusion, a language can be variously used for different types of groups. As a communication tool, Globlish is sufficient to learn and use without pressure, which is supported by Cuthbert. Admittedly, Jackson has already pointed out the lack of that simplified language in terms of vocabulary and culture background, but he needs to consider that those who use Globish in a professional field have already based on a qualified education background, so more specific discussions should be presented in his article.
