Goal setting is an ideal way to learn new skills and knowledge. The skills you learn at an internship will help you prepare for your future career. Setting goals for yourself to achieve in an internship, as well as life, will ultimately dictate who you are, what you are doing, where you are going, and finally where you’ll end. Hopefully where you end is the goal. If not, that’s fine, as long as you worked hard towards achieving the goal and learned from what you did do. The point of setting a goal is to achieve a desired result, and work as hard as you have to, to achieve it.
