I. Point of view The point of view to be taken in this case is the point of view of Elizabeth Santos. Ms. Santos would be the best person to tackle any issue regarding some of the Gintong Hiyas outlets since she is the one managing those outlets and since she completed a degree in commerce which makes her knowledgeable in handling businesses.
II. Analyses of Relevant Case Facts Elizabeth Santos being a graduate in bachelor’s degree in Commerce applied a scheme for motivating her employees to increase sales via bonus incentive. In the first months, she noticed the increased attentiveness of her employees which resulted in the increase of store’s sales. After a few months, the applied scheme had changed the relationship among the store staff.
• Economic Aspect – During the time of the business, the economy of the country was doing well which allowed customers to purchase the product of the company.
• Technological Aspect – The technology used by the company during the time of business was not efficient enough in creating jewelries for it was out-dated.
• Industry Environment – The immediate environment that affected the company most is their customers.
 Customers - It can be seen that the company had a wide range of customers patronizing their product. The company was also able to provide and give the customers the jewelries that they prefer and want.
• Firm – There were a lot of factors affecting the firm. These are as follows.
 Production – The production line of the company was doing fine for it was able to produce the needed amount of jewelries and it was able to create new line of jewelries even if the technology used was out-dated.
 Marketing – There was a lack of managers in this area. It became problematic for there were no people handling some areas of the business.
 Personnel – There were numerous conflicts among the employees/staff in the company due to jealousy and rivalry in accommodating customers.

IV. Identification and Evaluation of Alternative Courses of Action
Alternative A: Give a reward scheme for the best employee of the week. The reward would be in monetary form in consideration of the sales the whole outlet made that week. The scheme would not focus on the number of sales a staff made but on how he treats or relates with the customers, the other staffs, and the manager. A public relations officer should be employed to oversee this new scheme. The following criteria will be followed by the P.R.O in choosing the staff that will receive the award.

Displaying the picture of the employee of the month is also a way of acknowledgement that can boost and motivate the employees.
A public relations officer should also be employed to oversee this new scheme. The criteria that will be used by the P.R.O in choosing the staff that will receive the award is the same as the criteria used in alternative A, Table 1.

Alternative C: Give group bonus on the accomplishment of sales quota for the whole store on a given period. This will encourage the staff to work together in order to achieve or surpass their required sales.
Alternative D: Provide seminars and conduct team building activities to employees and staff of the company. This will not only give the staff and employees the opportunity to mingle and bond with each other but also build rapport and friendship with one another.
Alternative E: Assign a specific rotational scheme for the employees in order for them to serve the customers equally. This will also allow each employee to assist and aid the customers.
Alternative F: Give group bonus monthly on the accomplishment of sales quota. To encourage employees better, there will be a reward for the best employee weekly.
