It’s hard to play golf and stay environmentally friendly, especially if your ball lands in the water more than it hits land. The Danish Golf Union has discovered that it takes centuries for golf balls to completely dissolve by natural circumstances which is a disturbing fact knowing that approximately 300 million golf balls are lost each year in the United States. Once your golf ball is swallowed by water, it will gradually let go of a high amount of the heavy metal zinc. This problem will soon be resolved by a Spanish golf ball company that has invented a ball that dissolves and releases fish food when it hits water.
