I feel the government has every right to force the same ethical standards, especially if you’re a public traded company or established in America. Government rules are applied to create fairness for all. The government in this case, can’t operate with a two sided door, allowing one thing here and a different practice there. There has to be a firm standard across the board. As an American based company, you should be held accountable to act accordingly when representing America. Because one country is unethical doesn’t mean you should be.
