To me one of the biggest tortures in my American experience is grading, it seemed more beneficial than the material itself. Without the grade you could not pass, but you didn’t have to remember then material. Of course it was important to have an understanding of the class you were in, however it was only important as long as you wanted a good grade. This topic is important to me because of my brother and myself. As an older brother who has been through k-12 grade I understand the hardships of grading and the anxiety that come with it. I want them to understand that in under to make it, you have to smart, not just passable like grading make it out to be.
