...organization, minimize waste and mistakes, and keep morale up. As such, it is imperative to understand which ‘type’ of manager should be placed in each management role; an effective leader that may not have intimate knowledge of the area they manage, or a manager that fully understands the inner workings of the organization that may not be as effective of a leader. This paper seeks to examine management qualifications and their effect in the decision making process and how that impacts organizations. This paper also reviews both decision making in airline services organizations and management types to provide an understanding of the decision making process and factors that can affect that process in airline MRO services organizations. Keywords: organizational behavior, decision making, technical management, general management. Managers without enough qualifications and their effect on decision making process in airline MRO services organizations Introduction Nooraie (2012) in his paper states that the decision making process is one of the most important functions in any kind of organization. ...itself, but also for the absurdly expensive and extremely entertaining commercials and the half-time performance; Super Bowl XVIII is expected to have an economic impact of approximately $500 million. So why did I choose to do my report on Super Bowl 2014? Well, I am a big fan of the Super Bowl and all I’ve been hearing lately is The Farmer’s Almanac prediction of a bitterly-cold, wet and white start to February for the mid-Atlantic region of the United States (Almanac Publishing Co.). So I thought it would be interesting to take a look into what type of weather the teams and performers would be challenged with. Image from 2013 Farmer’s Almanac with regional predictions for central and eastern US. For this reason, the focus of my research paper will be an analysis of variables directly affecting weather for East Rutherford, NJ on February 2nd, over that past 30 years. The dependent variable, wind chill, is determined by independent variables: wind speed, temperature, humidity and whether or not Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow (otherwise known as could cover). The most important independent variable in determining wind chill during the winter months is temperature. The Wind Chill is the temperature your body feels when the air temperature is combined with the wind speed. My dependent variable is the wind chill for East...

...lesson. To my surprise, none of the students noticed the camera. When it was time to record the lesson, I discretely pushed record without drawing attention to it. The Lesson This lesson took place during guided reading. During the direct instruction portion of the lesson, I began by asking students to raise their hand if they knew what a prediction was. During this time, there were several students who raised their hands. The student I called upon said she thought a prediction was a guess about something. I explained to her that a prediction is indeed a guess and shared that we would be learning about how readers make predictions or guesses about what will happen in a story. I then presented students with the story Good Morning Groundhog by Abby Klein. I explained how engaged readers use the illustrations and title on the cover of a story to make a prediction about what the story will be about. Throughout this portion of the lesson, students appeared to be engaged and were eager to make predictions. It was interesting to see students excited about trying something new. To proceed with the lesson, I demonstrated how to make a prediction about a new story. I modeled how to use the title and illustrations to make a prediction. I then made a quick sketch to organize my thoughts, and wrote a few sentences about my prediction. Next we read a few pages of the story together. I explained to students how my predictions had changed. It was then I completed the revised prediction...
