Business 600 Fall 2015
Sheri J. Abraham
August 26, 2015

Sheri Abraham has been working voluntarily as a Family Readiness Group leader for the past 2 years. During her time she has always had great participation from the soldiers and family members that she served. Sheri moved and relocated to a different location and assumed the FRG leader role to find out that it was really different. This new FRG and it was different, the attendance was next to none. Understanding the need for the FRG and family participation she needed to figure out what the problem was. How could she raise attendance and have an active and thriving FRG? After speaking to other FRG leaders she found that other FRG’s were very active. She began looking into what they were doing that hers was not.
Cheri a saved woman of God relocated with her family to a new duty station. She a couple of years back graduated with her BA but never had a chance to use it because of the location in which they had lived. She was now back in school nearing the completion of her MBA and wanted to gain some of the training needed to make her marketable in her current location. She needed to work because she had a family to help take care of but new she had an opportunity to look at smart locations it seek employment that would foster what she needed. She also was very careful to ensure that where she applied was in line with her belief system. She knew that the world’s values and that of her own did not line up so she needed a place that was not one that would cause her to choose between her belief and her job. So she began researching the hospitals, clinics, and assisted living homes around her for possible employment based on their values.

First, advising network variables are positively related to student performance both in the class and on the forum. Adversarial variables are negatively correlated with almost all students’ performance. Second, advising and adversarial network variables are good determinants for overall academic performance; however, adversarial network variables are not influential on students’ performance on the forum. Friendship network variables are not determinants of students’ performance. Implications...
