The guest speaker Tracee Crockett is an Assistant Director of Parks and an Arizona Native. Ms. Crockett is a third generation that attended Arizona State University and received a bachelors in Sociology, then received her master's in Public Administration. Ms. Crockett mentioned that throughout her undergrad she has the opportunity to work in the Parks and Recreation that focused on the at-risk youth, which was really innovated because it supported the at-risk youth group. Left the city, became a case manager that focused on domestic violence among the younger generations, which was a great opportunity to help those in the community. Ms. Crockett had another opportunity to appear at the Downtown Parks and Recreation Center, which resulted in working two projects in the North West Division. After hearing Ms. Crockett work history, it allows me realized that organizations will "recruit of highly qualified" (book 195), in the case of Ms. Crockett she was well-rounded in different areas. I believe that Ms. Crockett had the great opportunities because of how she works and completed her task.
