COMPANY SUMMARY Product Background
The history of "Yakitori" dates back to the "Edo" period (1603-1867). Where it was described in a book (written in 1643) as Birds meat stuck on a skewer, grilled and flavoured with soy-sauce and sake based under the influence of European missionary and traders the breeding of chicken was introduced and became luxury food and a main ingredient for Yakitori.
Yakitori consists of chicken, vegetables and seafood on bamboo skewers with salt and yakitori sauce, and requires very delicate control of charcoal heat and seasoning. It is served and eaten on the skewer so as to enjoy the aroma and flavour. The preparation of yakitori looks simple but customer satisfaction depends heavily on the charcoal. We assume that at this range, which is equal to the age of college students, are the most substantial market. In addition, there are many college students that come from out of Yogyakarta that will be an extra potential target. In more specific for the geographical segmentation, Tori Chan targets are college students from UGM, UNY, Sanata Dharma, UII, and Atma Jaya.
Moreover, our general targets based on profession are citizens at the age of 23 years old or more who works as an employee or housewife. Based on the buying behavior, Tori Chan targets people with a simple life style. Their characteristics are busy people who do not have much time and likes simple things that are not wasting time.
• Positioning
Tori Chan make efforts to introduce the image of “unique” and “customer oriented”. The image of Tori Chan will be reach by providing unique menu which involve customers on the process of making the food. Tori Chan has a tagline “Japanese says it’s Awesome”. This tagline intends to persuade customers to try Japanese food.
Industry Analysis Tori Chan engaged in the culinary industry. In Yogyakarta, there are still a few of Japanese kinds of food. Tori Chan try to enter the available niche market. We try to be a pioneer of one of the Japanese snack which is yakitori. We think that it will be an opportunity in the culinary industry. The industry participants are the traditional satay seller and some restaurants that sell satay as their main menu such as Sate Samirono and Sate Klathak. For the competitors, we see that all the industry participants that sells satay as their menu is our competitor but the main competitor for our yakitori itself is Takigawa Restaurant.

Strength
• Pioneer of Japanese yakitori.
• Customer involvement in the food processing.
• The variety of food complementary (sauce and side dish).
Weakness
• The difficulties to introduce and develop new brand.
• The distribution range is limited.
Opportunities
• There a still few yakitori seller.
• The possibilities of innovation for this product are still relatively open.
Threat
• There are many products that could be substituted of the Tori Chan products.
• Lack of public information about the Tori Chan products.

...Aspiring to Achieve I firmly believe that if one plans on achieving his aspirations, setting goals is a very important step. Having goals not only gives you a clear focus on things, it also helps you to organize your plans by allowing you to give yourself time limits and boundaries. That is why I try to set goals for myself routinely, whether it is just for one day, or for the rest of my life. One goal that I work hard at daily is to try to do well in high school. I try to involve myself in any activity that I can, both academically and socially, so that I can graduate with honors. The reason why I do this is because I plan on going to college, and I would like to be able to get accepted into any school that I apply to. Going to college alone would be a major achievement for my family and I, because I will be the first person in my family to attend college. Immediately after I graduate, I want to start my career as police investigator/detective. By age 25, after gaining some experience as a policewoman, I would like to make a career switch to become an FBI agent. This is because being an FBI agent has been a dream of mine since I was a child, and to be good at what I do, I need some familiarity in that line of work, among other things. After becoming settled into my second career, I would like to begin a family. By this time, I plan on already being married to my current boyfriend, and preparing to have another child. I will also be ready...

[2] In particular, with regards to the children in conflict with the law, CRC obliges State Parties to undertake in giving protection to children in conflict with the law at every stage of the juvenile justice system, in line with the requirements of Articles 37 and 40 of the CRC in order to uphold the principle of the best interest of the child (Committee on the CRC, General Comment 10, 2007). [3] While the former obligates States Parties to uphold the leading principles for the use of deprivation of liberty, the procedural rights, treatment and conditions afforded to children in conflict with the law when deprived of liberty, the latter safeguards the legal rights of the children in conflict with the law by ensuring that they receive treatment and guarantees of fair trial which could afford protection on them (Committee on the CRC, General Comment 10, 2007).[4] This article seeks to analyze pertinent issues surrounding the juvenile justice system in...
