On 2/4/18 at approximately 03:58 I (Officer Ramirez#212) was dispatched to Miramar Harbor Hall room #3117 located at (6515 Ocean Drive Corpus Christi TX, 78412 on the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi) in reference to reporting party Callie Browning (student/resident) someone had been spying inside her apartment and within the hallway.

Upon arrival as I made entry into Harbor Hall I noticed a Browning along with Resident Advisor Marco Micalay Hurtado (student/resident) standing on the hallway. Browning was very distressed.

I asked Browning and Hurtado to take a seat inside the common area to which they both complied. Browning stated she would hear little commentaries about everything she did while in her bedroom and believed it was coming from Keegan and his voice would get louder and louder as the days went by.

Note: Reese lives on the same floor two rooms away from browning. Reese's Room is approximately 30 feet away in the same side and there are two other rooms between Reese's and Browning's room. Room #1113 and 1115. Browning then stated she went over to Keegan Reese (student/resident) room #3111 in Harbor Hall and knocked on his door and asked him if he had called her name.
Browning stated Reese had told her ''no but there's defiantly been some surveillance.'' At that point Browning stated to cry and hyperventilate. I …show more content…
Reese went back to his room as Hurtado and I went to check around the Hall and inside Browning's bed room. Inside Browning's bedroom I checked all air vents inside her room including the restrooms. I checked all corners for anything suspicious small holes within the walls. I checked the outer drawers for any small holes. As I was checking her night stand next to her bed I did notice an empty bottle of Robitussin (see photos). I also located a glass pipe with burnt marijuana residue inside of it along with a digital scale and a small zip bag with marijuana stems inside of

Is Japanese Americans Justified

...Executive order to get all Japanese Americans out of the place they called home. Reacting off of fear from the Pearl Harbor attack, on December 7, 1941 President Roosevelt created the order to create a sense of protection from America’s own citizens. Albeit most these people had come legally and only to better themselves, thing as such as racism, prejudice, and mistreatment showed throughout the United States the “Land Of The Free”. In my opinion, the reasoning behind this is not justified. As previously stated, Japanese came to the United States to have peace and prosperity. Though leaving their unstable homeland may not have been easy, they came to pursue for a life of hard work and the chance to provide a better future for their children. In the 14th amendment it prohibits states from lowering the privileges of citizens and implies that each citizen has the right to due process and the equal protection of the law. This was not applied to japanese Americans due to the fact that had a law put against them. Instead, they were forced to leave their homes and start a life worse than what they experienced in japan. Children had to face looking into their parents eyes to hopefully find answers, but only looked away with more questions....

...emotions, the all-white, all-male jurors were also from different age groups, which meant that their experience and worldview would vary with one another. The jurors also held different jobs – businessman, stock broker, nurse, painter, salesman, architect, garage owner, watchmaker, advertising executive among others. Ability and skills play a major role in individual behavior as individuals have different levels of mental ability and tacit knowledge. Based on observation, certain jurors are more assertive and vocal while some are timid and do not speak up in 12 Angry Men, it’s the same in organizations and classrooms as well as lecture halls. The jurors were sequestered in the jury room that had a fan which did not work on a sweltering hot day. This made it even more unbearable as everyone was becoming increasingly sweaty and uncomfortable. The jury room which was just large enough for...

By retaliating harshly, the state runs the risk not only of looking like an oppressive bullying regime but also of alienating the public, thus perhaps causing sympathy for the terrorists and making it harder for the state to refuse their demands. The counterterrorist approach/capability needs to have a preventive (before), responsive (during), and “post” or “after” approach to deal with incidents and eventualities afterward. If conflict...

Eve Teasing

...college girl as an outcome of eve-teasing is an obvious news whenever we scroll down the daily newspapers. Eve-teasing has no bounds. Every other person on the streets intend to assault women ranging from rich to poor, being literate to being uneducated. It is very sad that, a healthy number of educated boys from reputed families are growing hanker after towards this practice. According to the report from ‘Bangladesh National Women Lawyers Association’ (BNWLA) the probable eve-teasers on the streets of Bangladesh are teenage boys, traffic police, rickshaw pullers, bus drivers, supervisors or colleagues of the working women. Statistics suggests 32% of the eve teasers are students, 33% are middle-aged men while 35% are anti-socials. A common scenario of defining how women are sexually harassed would be the fact that these teasers wait in schools mostly, in colleges or they just sit outside the houses and as soon as they cite the girls walk past them they start passing bad...

If I Stay

...FOR NICK Finally . . . Always 7:09 A.M. Everyone thinks it was because of the snow. And in a way, I suppose that’s true. I wake up this morning to a thin blanket of white covering our front lawn. It isn’t even an inch, but in this part of Oregon a slight dusting brings everything to a standstill as the one snowplow in the county gets busy clearing the roads. It is wet water that drops from the sky—and drops and drops and drops—not the frozen kind. It is enough snow to cancel school. My little brother, Teddy, lets out a war whoop when Mom’s AM radio announces the closures. “Snow day!” he bellows. “Dad, let’s go make a snowman.” My dad smiles and taps on his pipe. He started smoking one recently as part of this whole 1950s, Father Knows Best retro kick he is on. He also wears bow ties. I am never quite clear on whether all this is sartorial or sardonic—Dad’s way of announcing that he used to be a punker but is now a middle-school English teacher, or if becoming a teacher has actually turned my dad into this genuine throwback. But I like the smell of the pipe tobacco. It is sweet and smoky, and reminds me of winters and woodstoves. “You can make a valiant try,” Dad tells Teddy. “But it’s hardly sticking to the roads. Maybe you should consider a snow amoeba.” I can tell Dad is happy. Barely an inch of snow means that all the schools in the county are closed, including my high school and the middle school where Dad works, so it’s an unexpected day off for him, too. My mother, who...

Living History

...___________________________ LIVING HISTORY Hillary Rodham Clinton Simon & Schuster New York • London • Toronto • Sydney • Singapore To my parents, my husband, my daughter and all the good souls around the world whose inspiration, prayers, support and love blessed my heart and sustained me in the years of living history. AUTHOR’S NOTE In 1959, I wrote my autobiography for an assignment in sixth grade. In twenty-nine pages, most half-filled with earnest scrawl, I described my parents, brothers, pets, house, hobbies, school, sports and plans for the future. Forty-two years later, I began writing another memoir, this one about the eight years I spent in the White House living history with Bill Clinton. I quickly realized that I couldn’t explain my life as First Lady without going back to the beginning―how I became the woman I was that first day I walked into the White House on January 20, 1993, to take on a new role and experiences that would test and transform me in unexpected ways. By the time I crossed the threshold of the White House, I had been shaped by my family upbringing, education, religious faith and all that I had learned before―as the daughter of a staunch conservative father and a more liberal mother, a student activist, an advocate for children, a lawyer, Bill’s wife and Chelsea’s mom. For each chapter, there were more ideas I wanted to discuss than space allowed; more people to include than could be named; more places visited than could be described...
