Case Summary: Facts/Issues: Harold Shipman aka “ Dr. Death.” Harold Shipman was an English Physician, who made home visits to the majority of his patients, especially the patients who were mostly elderly or homebound. The suspicion began in the year of 1998 when local morticians were becoming suspicious when the death rates in the area grew which had Shipman listed as their physician. Another thing that made the undertakers suspicious is that most of the decedents were homebound elderly women that were dying. The deaths of these elderly women were synonymous to each other at home sitting up or lying in their beds and fully dressed.
