Discuss two major theories in relation to the development of the individual

Once individuals reach a certain age they could stay active, meaning they will have to stay active and involved. That means they need to have and interest in life and spend time with family and friends. The other thing individuals could be is disengage, meaning they will withdraw themselves from activates and people, which means less interaction with family and friends and mostly staying inside.

When Nicki gets older in age, there is a chance that she might disengage from activities and people. It’s possible that Nicki could just lose interest in activities and being around people for example family and friends, meaning she would spend less time with them. This wouldn’t be surprising as Nicki is only human like everyone else, which means that she goes through the life stages and development like everyone. Another reason why Nicki could become disengage is if she develops an illness that is really bad causing her to isolate herself from everything and everyone, as it probably would be too difficult for her to cope with. This is because as you get older up age you prefer to be more independent and hide things that may cause emotional problems for family and friends.

Another reason for Nicki to disengage is if a life changing event was to happen in her life, this would cause her to distant herself from people, activities and the outside world, especially if what happened was too painful. If the life event that happened involved family or friends, then Nicki would need to spend most of her time with them, meaning that reducing social activities and contact.

When Nicki gets older in age the other option is that she will stay actively involved. It’s very important that Nicki stays actively involved and keep her interest as she is a role model for many young people around the world. If Nicki was to disengage then it would be the end of her career as people would lose interest in her and they would probably be disappointed. Nicki Minaj has to stay active so she doesn’t completely disengage with the world physically and mentally. It’s important for Nicki to stay active so she isn’t forgotten, but remembered for a long time. If Nicki withdraws and disengages too much it could lead to her becoming stagnant, isolating herself self from family, friends and other people and activities. It’s natural for Nicki to disengage as its part of a life stage but it’s something that she can avoid by keeping interests and hobbies.

Another reason for Nicki to stay actively involved is because once she disengages then she wont be making any more money through the media, as people will slowly start turning away from her and wont be supporting her anymore. Individuals will stat

...M2 - Discuss the probable homeostatic responses to changes in the internal environment during exercise. What is homeostasis? Homeostasis is defined as “maintaining a constant internal environment.” [1] The term internal environment refers to the area and components inside an individual’s body e.g. this consists of the blood, tissue fluid, body cell contents and all of the metabolic processes that occur. Constant means an ongoing process and too regulate and control. Homeostasis controls a range of conditions and physiological processes in the body such as body temperature, water content and blood glucose concentration. For example the homeostasis concept means that if it detects that the internal body’s temperature is too hot, the body will begin to sweat and loose heat to its surroundings to bring it back to its optimum temperature. Homeostasis works alongside the negative feedback mechanism. Negative feedback system The negative feedback system is a mechanism that occurs and works with homeostasis to help regulate the internal environment. Below is a generalised negative feedback cycle that can be applied to variables in homeostasis. The first stage is detecting a stimulus in the variable. For example the variable could be body temperature and a stimulus is when there is a change or imbalance in the internal environment so this would mean an increase or decrease in body temperature (+/- 37°c). Secondly this change is then detected by a receptor (sensor); a receptor is...
