This course, Human Resource Management, is a course that deals with why the HR department is so important. Some of the topics we cover in this course are the effects of HR with regard to; leadership, motivation, communications, to name a few. The paper that you are required to write will investigate and explain further the importance of HR and how it influences the organization as a whole and managing/leading people.
This paper assignment is going to be written on a topic of your choice from the text book as it relates to a company of your choice. You will demonstrate your comprehension and application of the insight you gained from your research on your topic and company. From your topic, incorporate many various variables that would affect the HR department as well as how it will affect managing /leading employees. In addition, indicate how you would change or improve your topic choice if you feel it needs changing.
You will need to format the paper APA style, double spaced, 12 pt font, with a minimum of six (6) pages of research. You will need a cover page, summary page, conclusion page and reference page bringing the total number of pages to 10. All of your references need to be from credible sources. You should be using your text book, websites and articles to support your comprehension and application of your topic. Remember to cite all your sources and use in text sources where applicable. A presentation on your paper, five (5) minutes maximum, on the evening of the due date of the paper is required as well. This presentation should have a minimum of 4 power point slides. Feel free to present your topic in an original, creative format.
