...Which Elements are Important to Customers in Fast Food Restaurants: Food quality, Time, and Price. Introduction A phenomenon anyone can easily observe is that people eat more meals outside their home than before(Kara, Kaynak, & Kucukemiroglu, 1997), and fast-food has increasingly become popular over the past decades (Pereira et al., 2005). When people are short of time, sick and tired of preparing for meals at home, or hatred to waiting, they willingly go out and eat meals. According to some authors (French, Story, Neumark-Sztainer, Fulkerson, & Hannan, 2001), between 1977 and 1995 the fast-food industry had experienced 200% rapid growth whereas other restaurant industry had been grown only by 150%. Adolescents visit a fast food restaurant more than twice every week on average, indicating that out of at least two-and-a-half of the away-from-home meals are eaten by them, and this trend is expected to continue in the future (French, et al., 2001). According to Namkung and Jang (2007), the very first objective of business is to satisfy customers, and in turn, have them repurchase. Food quality is one of the most important reasons that we repeatedly patronize a certain restaurant because after all is said and done, the fundamental reason of going to restaurants is to have meals. Therefore, food quality has received by far more attention from researchers than any other elements of restaurants (Jang, Ha, & Silkes, 2009), and their efforts have been continued on...

Similarly, opening various styles of restaurants in the domestic cities of the appropriate location is a great business opportunity. ...gu A chicken nugget is a chicken product made from either meat slurry or chicken breasts cut to shape, breaded or battered, then deep-fried or baked. Fast food restaurants typically fry their nuggets in vegetable oil. The chicken nugget was invented in the 1950s by Robert C. Baker, a food science professor at Cornell University, and published as unpatented academic work.[1] Dr. Baker's innovations made it possible to form chicken nuggets in any shape. McDonald's recipe for Chicken McNuggets was created on commission from McDonald's by Tyson Foods in 1979[citation needed] and the product was sold beginning in 1980. Some fast food restaurants have launched vegetarian alternatives. McDonald's served Garden McNuggets made of beans and Swedish fast food restaurant Max Hamburgare offers a dish containing nuggets made of falafel. Quorn also supplies vegetarian chicken style nuggetts.[2][3] World record The largest recorded chicken nugget weighed 51.1 pounds (23.2 kg) and was 3.25 feet (0.99 m) long and 2 feet (0.61 m) wide and was created by Empire Kosher. It was unveiled at Kosherfest in Secaucus, New Jersey on October 29, 2013.[4] See also Chicken fingers Chicken fries Meat slurry References Wikimedia Commons has media related to Chicken nuggets. ...One day four friends were hungry and they decided to go to Chick-fil-a. One friend, the strongest in the group with light blue eyes, jet black hair, and a gruff face with broad shoulders handed the person working twenty dollars. “Oh we ran out of chicken nuggets, I’m so sorry” said the manager working. “It’s fine, so how long will it be to make them?” said the gruffed face man. “Around one hour and thirty minutes.” said the manager. “It’s okay, we can just sit down and tell stories while we wait.” said the man with a tone of annoyance in his voice now. And so the friends told their stories… One day there was a very arrogant man that often bragged about himself. He told everyone in the village that he was the strongest and bravest man in the...

...Audience: School Officials that believe Students should Consume Junk Food LaVonia Sauls Kim Sale ENGL 1102 CC 30 Mar 2015 Junk Food Should Be Banned In Schools For many years now, obesity has become a problem for our nation and especially for the children growing up in society today. In our generation, a lot of parents are finding it harder to prepare their kids breakfast and lunch, let alone prepare meals for themselves. Like a new trend, skipping breakfast has become quite popular in schools with many students coming to school unfed. This result has led children to eating unhealthy foods like fried food sold in the cafeteria, or snacks out of the vending machine. But this isn’t the answer, not only are the students already under-nourished from skipping breakfast, but they are digesting a large amount of fat and unhealthy food. Because child obesity is on the rise and school officials feed students greasy, salted unhealthy foods, the use of vending machines and junk food should be banned. There is a law going through congress right now about banning junk food in schools, and before you form an opinion, open your mind to see how the quality of life is being affected by junk food. Junk food can be so destructing towards your well-being and we all know that it makes people overweight. According to an article by the Irish Independent, “Globally, about twenty two million children, under the age of five, are overweight or obese” (Irish Independent Par 6). First of all,...

...Lauder Business School, Intercultural Management and Leadership Wendy’s or Vapiano? In initial Research: How companies present quality of their products and services to the public Prepared by Svitlana Kyazimova Vienna, 2010 Table of content Introduction 1. What are my expectations from the restaurants? 2. Wendy’s valuation 3. Vapiano valuation 4. Personal experience of being a Vapiano customer Conclusion Introduction A quality is an attribute or a property. Subjectively, something might be good because it is useful, because it is beautiful, or simply because it exists. Determining or finding qualities therefore involves understanding what is useful, what is beautiful and what exists. Commonly, quality can mean degree of excellence, as in, "a quality product" or "work of average quality". The quality of a product or service refers to the perception of the degree to which the product or service meets the customer's expectations. The quality management and quality control should be performed in all the levels. The scheme bellow demonstrates how the quality management functions in the Fast-food restaurants: In my initial research I would like to investigate two companies from the same business sector which is Entertainment and the industry is Restaurants. My choice fell on fast food Wendy’s from Wendy's/Arby's Group (USA/Canada) and Vapiano International...

...Men and Animals Chapter One: Date: Saturday, September 29th, 2019 Place: Bee’s Apartment Time: 7:35 p.m Maybe I am a little like Sekai-ichi’s main character, Takano Masumune. Everyone I dated made me a little cold in the heart. The more they got serious about me, the more I became cold to them. Also, we both like cats. We both are near-sighted. We both love to read. (But I’m not an editor-in-chief like he is.) And we both are still in love with someone after high school. Okay. Maybe I am a lot like Takano. But just not only in personality. I lay on the couch with my cat lying on my stomach and was purring away. I was petting her gently as possible while I was reading the Sekai-ichi Hatuskoi manga. This volume was back on Ritsu’s point of view. The last one was on Takano’s. He was explaining everything that happens between him and Ritsu. He was really mean to Ritsu then, but I like it how he slowly began to fall for Ritsu’s loving smile. Or was it just him in general? I closed the book and remember the page I was on. It’s been so long since I read the series. I took off my glasses and pinch the bridge of my nose then rubbing my eyes. I have been working my ass off since I graduated from the Early College High School to become an E4 in the Air Force. I was seventeen years old when I enlisted, but I really couldn’t do anything while I was still in high school working on college courses. But I did work on getting at least a 4.0 in my GPA or whatever it was I...

Your business may be just beginning this process, while others, already benefiting from incorporating initial, easy-to-apply strategies and procedures, are now prepared to implement the next level to achieve further gains. Modern businesses know how important it is to consider environmental performance as part of their planning and operational procedures. Adopting eco-efficient business practices will not only benefit the environment, but will also improve business operational efficiency and reduce costs. This guide outlines practical measures that can be used to improve eco-efficiency in your fast food business. The first step in improving the eco-efficiency of your business is to establish a baseline for your current practices. This usually involves conducting an eco-efficiency audit. Follow the suggested steps to eco-efficiency for guidance on eco-efficiency improvement. As part of your planning process, you should check your energy and water use, as well as a number of other specific areas shown below. A range of actions to improve efficiency are suggested, including easy, low-cost strategies as well as those that require some investment. Fast food outlets operate air-conditioners, lights, dishwashers and cooking equipment, all of which are energy hungry. Heating water for cleaning also consumes a lot of energy. Implementing...

Girl loves Boy. Girl's family has to love boy. Boy's family has to love girl. Girl's Family has to love Boy's Family. Boy's family has to love girl's family. Girl and Boy still love each other. This may be the first time in the history of books, but here goes: Dedicated to my in-laws* *which does not mean I am henpecked, under her thumb or not man enough PROLOGUE “Why am I referred here? I don’t have a problem,” I said. She didn’t react. Just gestured that I remove my shoes and take the couch. She had an office like any other doctor’s, minus the smells and cold, dangerous instruments. She waited for me to talk more. I hesitated and spoke again. “I’m sure people come here with big, insurmountable problems. Girlfriends dump...
