I am Nikita Ward and I am interested in college. I am a 17 year old girl; I am recently attending Greensboro High School which is a title one school. I am a senior in the graduating class of 2016. I have a 3.5 GPA; I love to help people out so I volunteer whenever I get a chance. I lost my mother to an unknown disease when I was in the eighth grade. Now my father is playing a major role in my sister and I lives. My sister is currently attending UWA Nursing program as a full time student. My father is a single parent and I will do all I can to make him proud. People have been saying I was not going to make it in life and I was not going to average to anything, but I am going to prove them wrong when I make it. You cannot get a good job without a college diploma. After high school I would like to major in kinesiology. Kinesiology is the study of the mechanics of body movement. I have to work hard to pursue my dreams and to prove everyone wrong that said I could not do it. I have been preparing for this career since my tenth grade year in high school. I have learned all the bones and muscles, and how they function in the human body. Kinesiology is a very expensive career but it will pays off in the long run.
