We use to live n a world where the colour of your skin, the language you speak, and what you r beliefs tend to be would dehumanize one another. But whose to say the opposities don’t attract? Based on societies views to what was acceptable and what wasn’t also determined who you were attracted to or even potentially marry. As humanity begins to progress so does our perception of what’s acceptable. As time goes on and changes throughout the world our tradition values and beliefs change over time and are not what they use to be according to society. Dating in other culutres has increased over time and has become more socially acceptable that helps use acknowledge other cultures, have long-lasting relationsjips and add more multiculturalism which helsps lead to a life substaining happiness instead of negativity.
Dating in other cultures has changed over changed in many ways. As children, we were raised what is presented to us from our childhood and parents are a big influence that makes us develop our religion, beliefs, moral and values and we tend to want to follow what they think is best. That’s why, back then it was expected to date an individual who had the same beliefs as you so you can pass on the tradition, there’s less arguments, and you’ll have more in common with your partner. It was not common for example, to see a Jewish boy date a Christian girl because there’s different perspectives of views on God(s), values and beliefs are different which can infer with traditionally family expectations parents hope to see. However one can know or learn more about their parent cultures such as different food, music, clothing, and ceremonies or events. With additionally information about one another culture it could lead to a compromise. For example, a Hindu-Christian wedding ceremony will consist a mixture of both religions put together as one without competiton added
