In that case I will be looking specifically at Long Mynd as it is a great example how human can live in harmony with nature, but there will be also some visible places where people left their track after them. Long Mynd has an area of over 22 square kilometres (8.5 sq mi), most of which takes the form of a heathland plateau and has a long history that stretches to bronze age. Erosion play a significant role at Long Mynd as we can see that in the past, many houses and other structures have been build by stones that were present there and over history, if the place wouldn’t be touched by human hand, it may could look differently shaped and formulate naturally, but it didn’t. Today’s modern houses that are built on those lands are made from different resources and aren’t necessarily taken from the land itself but from somewhere else; like quarries. Long Mynd doesn’t consists of many types of rocks and today the steep and narrow valleys are covered in a thin layer of soil, with a low pH, able to support only strong grasses, rushes, and heathers. Beneath the soil the evidence of the ancient and chequered past can be seen, and the rocky outcrops and scree slopes are excellent places to view the different layers of ancient rock. All the students were still in-a-fog, recalibrating themselves from sleep on a long drive in the car and feeling surprised out how primitive the place was, where they would spend the next three nights. I was the chief of the Student Government for my major, Information Systems, called HIMSISFO. One of our program was an outdoor orientation for new students to learn how to survive in the wild by using only very basic tools without any electronics and also how to work in a group. I feel that the Bearington plant’s source of problems and concerns are emerging from a deteriorating equipment, poor management system, and staff that aren’t properly fit for this type of job. In chapter one, as Alex Rogo starts walking through the plant he observes the plant’s equipment was making inexplicable noises. There were outdated lights, computer systems, and an intercom system that could barely be heard over all the sound of the machines. On the other hand, the author was describing the employees as raggedy looking and some were over weight. The master machinist that was in charge of the NCX-10 wasn’t focused on his job and caused the machine to break, thus putting the plant further behind on the order of 41427. ...It was May of 2015 in Sedona when seven of my friends and I decided to go canyoneering — hiking, rappelling, and swimming through small slot canyons. The air was warm and our spirits were high. ...“I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.” Now that I am fully retired and this book is complete, what does the future hold? Since 1994, when the movie first came out, my bucket list has always included standing on the spot that “Forrest Gump,” ended his transcontinental run in the movie of the same name. While only a runner could understand that goal, I finally achieved it while visiting Utah’s five national parks in May 2017. Little did I know that during that escapade I would travel to the depths of the Zion Canyon by horseback and, more than once, watch helplessly as the horse I was riding stood nonchalantly on the edge of a cliff with a drop-off of well over five hundred feet. And I thought running past that cemetery was scary. Also on my bucket list are plans for my wife and me to travel, visit the six states out of the forty-eight contiguous states in America which I have not seen as of yet, and enjoy a cruise to Alaska. Additionally, my wife and I are fully prepared to absolutely “spoil rotten” any and all grandchildren which may come along in the future. Ironically and almost sadly, none of my future plans include running a race in a foreign country. Return to coaching? While I loved my years of coaching tremendously, I’m not sure I could coach the way I’d like to within the constraints of today’s society and with today’s parents. The man who was running the herb area had us rub our fingers along the leaves of one of the plants and told us to smell it, he later explained that it was a lemon verbena plant that the women used to use to keep everything smelling fresh.
