For the sake of this paper we will be looking at four individual case studies pertaining to rule 102 – integrity and objectivity, rule 201 – general standards, rule 202 – compliance with standards, and rule 501 – acts discreditable. Each case covers a violation of one or more of the rules and the enforcement actions taken against the individuals in violation. In 2005, David C Volpe of Stoughton, MA, acting chief financial officer and consultant of Chancellor Corp was found in violation of this rule as well as rule 501, acts discreditable. His actions pertaining to rule 102 were “directly or indirectly made or caused to be made materially false or misleading statements, or omitted to state or caused another to omit or to state material facts necessary in order to make Chancellor Corp’s financial statements not misleading to the outside auditors” (AICPA, 2005). These actions pertain to Chancellor’s financial statements filed with the SEC on forms 10-KSB and 10-QSB for the year ended December 31, 1998 and quarter ended March 31, 1999. The genre and style of the generation will follow. Music comes from the Ancient Greek muses, who were the nine goddesses of art and science. Music actually began around 500 B.C. when Pythagoras experimented with acoustics and how math related to tones formed from plucking strings. The main form of music during the middle Ages was the Gregorian chant, named for Pope Gregory I. This music was used in the Catholic Churches to enhance the services. It consisted of a sacred Latin text sung by monks without instrumentation. The chant is sung in a monophonic texture, which means there is only one line of music. It has a free-flowing rhythm with little or no set beat. The chants were originally all passed through oral tradition, but the chants became so numerous that the monks began to notate them. Towards the end of the Middle Ages, about the 12th and 13th centuries, music began to move outside of the church. French nobles called troubadours and trouveres were among the first to have written secular songs. Music of this time was contained among the nobility, with court minstrels performing for them. Data covering the period 1980-2011 was collected from the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin, and transparency international Agency annual publications and analyzed using econometric approach. The stationary status of the time series data was examined using Augmented Dickey Fuller test. The regressand is Real Gross Domestic Product (RGDP), The regressors are Foreign direct investment (FDI), Oil revenue (OIL), Corruption index (CI), External debt (EXDEBT). The series attained stationary after differencing. The Johansen cointegration test was conducted to ascertain the long run equilibrium condition of the variables in the model. The variables were cointegrated because four cointegrating equations were found. The Parsimonous model was established to account for the short run dynamic adjustments required for stable long run equilibrium. It was discovered that the variables: oil revenue and corruption index impacts negatively on Real GDP, while FDI and EXDEBT have positive impact on the growth of the economy.
