Gene Bablesworth: Let's get straight into the questions the lifeforms want to know. Are there any passages in the story that particularly struck you?

Ford: Well, not easy. There were two missiles with live atomic warheads locked on to ship. It took a lot of quick thinking, but our crew concluded that we would have to take the control of the ship from the computer into our hands. The worst part was when the control panels opened up. Polystyrene packaging material since they haven’t been used before came out and littered the cabin with little foam beads. It took months to clean up. (Audience
