Week 6 Internet Marketing Plan The happiest place on earth comes with a name that says it all, Disney. The Whole New World project is the grand opening event of the newest Disney theme hotel in Anaheim California. This hotel puts guests deep in the streets of Agrabah to experience Aladdin like never before. My project is using a unique combination of the name Disney and the celebration of Independence Day to market our event. Street flyers, to posters and commercials are lined with advertisement for the event but the biggest market places it yet to be covered.
Internet marketing can take The First Annual Natomas BBQ to “Infinity and beyond”. We know that Disney always has and always will target family groups with their advertising. Using the internet we can target those same family groups with websites everyone is familiar with. Family friendly or educational sites such as Disney Jr, ABC, Food Network, are just the start of the opportunities on the internet. These sites and others like them will allow us to get the attention of the adult user while sparking the child’s excitement. Using short Aladdin scenes from the original 1992 Disney movie mixed with highlights from other Fourth of July events that have been held as advertisement breaks in online videos, advertisement banners, and popups can spark a lot of attention.
