The Endocrine system plays a big role with the production of hormones. Hormones can affect a person’s behavior and mood tremendously. Hormones are chemical messengers that are secreted directly into the blood. The Endocrine system is made up of a couple of endocrine glands such as the thyroid gland, the pineal gland the adrenal gland and the pituitary gland. Each of these glands secretes different hormones, and all these hormones have a different effect on the body’s behavior. The Thyroid gland location is in the neck and secretes thyroxin, Triiodothyronine, and calcitonin from this gland metabolism is controlled.
