Ali is greatly celebrated by history, receiving honors such as the Presidential Medal of Freedom. After all, he is nicknamed “The Greatest.” One historian, Robert Booker, claims that “As he (Ali) became more popular and powerful, he began to make a difference in that regard. He and people like him helped bring change and equality.” Booker is definitely correct in that Ali had realized that the power and influence bestowed upon him had to be used to the maximum, so he voiced his concern and made the nation aware of the circumstances that African Americans were facing. Moreover, in today’s world, we not see the extensive amount of racism and discrimination that occurred during Ali’s time period. Provided that, the stopping of discriminations
