Learning to spell correctly is indeed exceptionally critical.
Several people would presume that spelling makes one seem intelligent, even more literate. To get children with good spelling and have them more confident while writing an essay they should be utilizing accurate grammar, and spelling. In the article ‘How important is good spelling really?’ by James Clements, Clements quotes “If they are constantly stopping to think about how words are spelled while they write, it can interrupt the flow of their thoughts, taking them away from what we want them to be thinking about: their choice of words and how they construct those words into sentences that communicate exactly what they want to say.” Not only can substandard spelling confuse students during essays, but it also has to power to …show more content…
It is known to be said that periods, hyphens, and commas project a change in emotion. Although one cannot see it, one can feel the tone of voice changing just by adding a few periods. Numerous amount of teens will agree with this type of spelling for the reason being that the sensation you get through a single symbol. However, I can agree that symbols are a suitable way to know how someone is feeling, but it can cause a change in face to face communication. People should be communicating with modern English to gain more knowledge and expand their vocabulary rather than learning the new “slang” that has come out this week. ...and feelings. Hence many people don’t feel comfortable, but limited by drawing in just two dimensions. Besides the restrictions of 2D drawing many creative women would rather develop a new, individual piece of jewelry on their own than just to buy a finished product. Wearing their own creations women could express themselves in a better way. Currently alternatives for 3d printing require a high level of technical knowhow and they are very expensive and therefore not accessible to many people. Solutions Possible Solutions could be provided for instance by 3D Printers. In the past they used to be very expensive, but prices have decreased very quickly and technology has made good advances in this research area. Due to these developments experts expect a creativity revolution through 3D printing in the very near future. 3D printing is also very fast and accurate. But one possible disadvantage of 3D printing could be the somehow distanced relationship to the printings. Artists often want to connect with their art in a special way and this is not always ensured working just in front of a display. Besides 3D Printing it is also possible to be creative in three dimensions with modeling clay. Clay is different than other materials because it never hardens, this is in one way an advantage, for example if small kids just want to play with their hands, but it can also being disadvantageous, if an artist wants his art to be solid and long-lasting. That’s why on the Friday 8th February 2013 we made sure we had another video for the year 11. Negotiating is any activity that influences another person. For instance we had a variety of prices for the posters, such as different types of paper and different quality of colour printing. Recourse management is the way you use recourses such as financial, human skills, production, IT etc. It is important to balance it all out because they you know you are not going over your limit for certain things. We as a group for the Safer Internet day we had to make sure that we have enough money to print out posters, leaflets, worksheets for lesson plans and other activities. History

...Printing press is a machine that transfers lettering or images with the contact of various forms of inked surfaces onto papers or similar kind of material into different ways. Printing press is used for printing many copies of a text on papers to form a book or similar kinds of reading material. Around 1446 several print masters were on the process creating effective technology of printing with movable metal type. The rapid cultural change in Europe fueled a growing need for the rapid and cheap production of written documents. A number of people had previously attempted to make a metal type movable printing press, but it was not until a method was invented for producing metal type in large quantities that printing with movable type became economically practicable. Johannes Gutenberg, the son of a noble family of Mainz, Germany was the first person to demonstrate the practicability of movable type printing machine. Gutenberg, who was a stonecutter and goldsmith, invented an alloy of lead, tin and antinomy that would melt at low temperature, cast well in the die, and is durable in the press (Kreis, 2011). As long as the metal in which they were cast did not wear down, it was possible to use and reuse the separate pieces of type, simply by arranging them in the desired order. The innovation of type from an alloy was durable and produced high quality printed books and was suitable for printing than the clay, wooden or bronze types which were already invented in East Asia. The mirror...

...to be one of the most important books in the history of medicine, The Fabric of the Human Body (1543). It was a complete map of the human body, complete with life like illustrations. It showed many of Galen’s ideas to be wrong, and soon Vesalius’ view of anatomy (the study of the structure of the body) became accepted by doctors and surgeons. 1. What is anatomy? 2. Why was Vesalius’ Fabric of the Human Body so important? Andreas Vesalius was born in Brussels in 1514. His great grandfather and grandfather had been doctors and his father an apothecary (chemist). Vesalius studied medicine at several European universities, and soon gained a reputation as a good anatomist, gaining a good knowledge of the structure of the body by examining skeletons. 3. When and where was Andreas Vesalius born? 4. How could his family background have influenced his decision to study medicine? 5. In which area of medicine did Vesalius excel? The Church now allowed human dissection, but did not allow bodies to be boiled up to produce skeletons. Vesalius desperately wanted to examine the human skeleton. The only way he could do this was to wait until the bodies of hung criminals had decomposed on the gallows. When the bones were bare he would remove the bodies and smuggle them back into town to study them. 6. What was the Church’s position on dissection at this time? 7. How did Veslius secure human skeletons for study? Vesalius was so successful that he became...

Emerging Trends in Nursing

...Living in the Information Age SOS-110-OL009 January 2015 There are many trends emerging today that will have an impact on our future. No one knows exactly what the future will bring, we as humans are only capable of making predictions. One of the most prominent areas seen affected by emerging trends in the past and present is the healthcare field. Various aspects of healthcare will continue to grow and shape our future including: the nursing workforce, innovative medical technology, etc. As healthcare needs continue rise and the population ages, I believe a shortage in nursing may be imminent based on these subsequent rationales that are discussed. On March 23, 2010 the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) was signed into law. Lanthrop and Hodnicki stated in their article, “It is the most expansive healthcare reform legislation in the United States (US) since the creation of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965” (Lathrop, 2014). The healthcare reform was put into legislation to decrease the number of uninsured Americans by providing accessible, affordable, quality healthcare. In 2011, it was predicted that the number of Americans uninsured would be reduced by more than half when the Act is fully implemented (Rosenbaum, 2011). “The law will result in health insurance coverage for about 94% of the American population, reducing the uninsured by 31 million people” (Rosenbaum, 2011). With the expanded access to health insurance provided by this law, more and more people...

...Resources Human Resources The use of our human resources is essential in the process of our promotional campaign for FAME as it’s important that we make the best use of the people involved whilst also making sure they have the necessary skills required in order to achieve the best result and meet our aims and objectives for the musical. The human resources that are available for us to use include ourselves who are conducting the promotional campaign as well as a number of teachers and students which are a part of FAME and media students. This is very helpful for the promotional campaign it means that we will not have to spend money on the use of other expertise as the students and teachers will be doing it free of charge as they are within the school. This would then also help us to achieve our objective which is to spend within our budget of £250. As we are conducting the promotional campaign for the FAME school musical, it is necessary that we have the skills required to do so. As a team we all possess team working skills, as we have the ability to work as part of a group with one another, all sharing ideas and working together in order to achieve the overall aim for FAME which is ‘To showcase the talents of the students of SSSO, by entertaining an audience which includes students, teachers and staff’. As a team we are willing to help one another out in order to complete a task as we are required to work towards a coordinated campaign which involves different elements...
