In 1967, Konigsburg published the book, along with her other book, From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Jennifer, Hecate won the Newbery Honor Book Award in 1968, while Frankweiler won the Newbery Medal, making Konigsburg the only author to win both awards the same year (Admin 1).
