I am going to explain to you soccer players one easier way to do a drop kick. I hope for those of you who didn’t know how when you are finished you will now know. This is going to be an explanatory paragraph.

Materials needed:

❖ 1 Soccer ball

❖ Cleats

❖ Knee high socks

❖ Shin guards

❖ Soccer ball air pump

❖ A goal box or target to aim at ……. it should be a big enough target so that the ball can hit it or it can even be a goalie box.

❖ Neon pink or silver duck tape …..so that you can mark were the soccer ball lands every time (your pick but should be one of the colors listed because they are the easiest to see )

❖ Forty neon orange cones

❖ Soccer bag …. Because you might want it to carry you soccer stuff in but you don’t have to use a soccer bag.

❖ Measuring tape or yard stick …… So that you can measure the distance each time you kick the ball to see if you kick it farther.

Those are all the materials you are going to need in order to do a drop kick. Now that you have all them, you should problobly put them together in your soccer bag. Now that you have them put together you will be able to follow the next couple of simple steps.

First you will need to walk to a park or go into an open area. Now that you are at a park. you should find a nice little area were there are no little children or babies are around so there is no possible chance you may hit them and knock them over and get an injuries . So now that you have done that you can put your bag down and get all forty cons out and line up the cones in two straight lines. Each row should have twenty cones in it. If you don’t already have your cleats on you should put them on and put your socks on you should probably do that.

Now for your second step you are going to set up your goal or target that you are going to aim at. After you are done doing that make sure your ball has enough air so that you don’t have to stop why you are practicing and make sure your ball has no holes in it ether. Now that those two things are done you should be ready for step three.

Third you are going to get your shine guards on and you and now you should be about ready to start your activity. Now you are going to sit on the grand and stretch out your muscles and once you feel you are stretched out enough you can go ahead a run one to two lap around the field. Now you should be about to get ready to start you practice. Fourth, now that you have exercised you should be ready to pump your ball and get ready to practice. Now pick up your ball or balls and take them to the line and line up the ball up with the cones.

Fifth you need to line up with the ball and pick up the ball. Once you have pick up the ball throw it up in the air and kick the ball. And see how far it goes and if it goes far you need to get a pike of tape and mark it. But if you don’t make it that is okay you just have to try again. That is okay because our don’t always make it on the first time .once you try for your second try. Try to aim for the goal or target and if you hit the goal that is what you are trying to do.

Then if you miss and you just get 1 out of 10 that is okay because if you keep trying practice will make perfect. So once you get the hang of it you will do it twenty more times and once you get a really good hang of it you will become a pro at doing drop kicks.

Finally when you are done kicking the ball and doing drop kicks you will get your measuring tape. You will measure from your first kick to your last kick and see what the difference is and you are going to try to get a big difference. If you don’t it is okay .it might be very hard for some people but for some of you it might be very easy.

Now that you have learned you should be very good. You should keep practicing so soon you can go on a TV show or be in competitions. [pic]

Michael Landon Lifespan Paper

...Michael Landon 1 Lifespan Development and Personality Paper Chérie Brooks PSY200 Gerry Winters October 22, 2004 Michael Landon 2 Michael Landon was many things to many people. We all know him from the various popular television series he acted in as a moral, decent, kind, Christian man. For the most part this is who he was; however, Landon had another side to him that we, his audience, never got to witness. There were many forces, some good, and some bad, that influenced his life, morals, emotions, mind, and faith. Parental and social systems greatly affected his developmental growth and adjustment as well. Landon was born October 31, 1936, as Eugene Maurice Orowitz, the second and last child of Eli Orowitz and Peggy O’Neal. His mother was a former actress, comedian, rumored to be an ex-Ziegfield Follies girl and an Irish Catholic. His father was a publicity agent, theater manager, and a Jew. He had an older sister, Evelyn. Home life in the Orowitz family was not normal. There was high tension between his parents and he found them difficult to cope with. Landon suffered much heartache and trauma at the hands of his mother. She was depressed, suicidal, volatile, and abusive. As an adult, Landon was interviewed many times and quoted as saying this of his mother, “She was a stabber, a kicker, and a wacko” (landonland.com), and that she was “…off her rocker” (bonanzaworld.net). Looking back at his childhood, his memories of her were not fond. ...

Painted House

...A Painted House John Grisham Chapter 1 The hill people and the Mexicans arrived on the same day. It was a Wednesday, early in September 1952. The Cardinals were five games behind the Dodgers with three weeks to go, and the season looked hopeless. The cotton, however, was waist-high to my father, over my head, and he and my grandfather could be heard before supper whispering words that were seldom heard. It could be a "good crop." They were farmers, hardworking men who embraced pessimism only when discussing the weather and the crops. There was too much sun, or too much rain, or the threat of floods in the lowlands, or the rising prices of seed and fertilizer, or the uncertainties of the markets. On the most perfect of days, my mother would quietly say to me, "Don't worry. The men will find something to worry about." Pappy, my grandfather, was worried about the price for labor when we went searching for the hill people. They were paid for every hundred pounds of cotton they picked. The previous year, according to him, it was $1.50 per hundred. He'd already heard rumors that a farmer over in Lake City was offering $1.60. This played heavily on his mind as we rode to town. He never talked when he drove, and this was because, according to my mother, not much of a driver herself, he was afraid of motorized vehicles. His truck was a 1939 Ford, and with the exception of our old John Deere tractor, it was our sole means of transportation. This was no particular problem except when...
