Describe the evidence for global warming and discuss the effects in order to consider three solutions to this problem. Evaluate the solutions you offer in terms of probability and effectiveness There has been an increase in the weather temperature in the last few years. This is referred to by global warming. Global warming is a term that has been in use more often especially in the last few decades because of the rise in the number of problems that are related to global warming (Yan, et al., 2016). Global warming problems are important to be explored and it is also important to suggest effective solutions to tackle these problems. This essay will firstly examine the situation of global warming and discuss its problems which are climate change, sea level rise and animals’ extinction. Secondly, three solutions will be suggested and evaluated for their effectiveness and probability which are switching to renewable energy, recycling waste and planting trees. ...On August 2, 2013 I rolled my ankle over a cement opening surrounding a planter; at that time, I did not know the struggle I would face for the next few years. That day I ruptured a ligament in my ankle, but that was not diagnosed until four doctors and 18 months later. I started at an ordinary doctor where I was told I sprained my ankle and I was put into an ankle brace. After realizing that the brace was not helping I was sent to my first ankle specialist where I was put into a medical boot and I was told that nothing was wrong with my ankle, that I just needed to be sent to pain management and that medication would take my pain away. The problem with that was that there was a problem within my ankle, not just pain. I was then sent to another specialist where I was placed into a cast for a few months. After realizing that none of this treatment was working, I had my first surgery where they went in and looked through my ankle and removed scar tissue. After that surgery, my doctor told me that something was wrong with my ankle, but that he could not detect the problem. I was, yet again, sent to another doctor. Each time I was sent to another specialist I kept getting more and more discouraged. I knew something was wrong, but I kept questioning why not even ankle specialists could tell me what was wrong. That all changed when I went to a new doctor in January, 2015. On my very first appointment, this new doctor, within 45 minutes, diagnosed me with a rupturing a ligament. Due...

...KAI: Speedy, we often discuss our own capabilities and how we can improve the tactical prowess of our crew members and other teammates. The fact that you already dedicate time and effort to assess your performance as an instructor and tactician places you ahead of many of your peers. I have seen you evaluate your behaviors and the behaviors of others in different environments in an effort to understand how others execute real-time decision making and problem solving while controlling. You also seek to understand An additional tool that will improve your understanding of, and place a name to what you have already been doing, is Kirton’s Adaption-Innovation or KAI. There are six cognitive preferences that mirror how creative you are when it comes to problem solving, decision making, and your initiative to incite change. With an understanding of your cognitive preference and the cognitive preference of other crew members you are set-up readily identify when there is a “cognitive gap” between preferences and identify who may be best to bridge that gap to facilitate problem solving amongst your team or crew. My observations of your actions and behaviors over the past three years lead me to believe you are a “mildly innovative.” There are many factors that led me to this conclusion; however, one of the primary indications is your comfort with new ideas and tactical concepts. I believe you are more in the innovative area than adaptive area of the bell curve because of your background...

...I first began college in 1997, while serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy. I did not completed my degree until May of 2015. While serving on active duty, I changed duty stations often. I decided not to continue with my college studies due to my being stationed on a ship, because I would often be deployed many times during the semester. Once I was discharged from the military in 1999, I did not to go back to school until 2003. By that time I was a single mother of a child who suffered from chronic asthma and seizures. I later gave birth to two more children one in 2005 and the last one in 2007. My son who was born in 2005 suffers from ODD, and Intermittent Explosive Disorder. I, too suffered with multiple health conditions as a result of my military service. My daughter has spent most of her childhood in hospitals as a result of both of her medical conditions. My oldest son, also required a lot of medical attention and therapeutic services as well. I required as well as my children countless medical appointments and surgeries for my disabilities. I was enrolled in college, I maintained full-time employment when permitted, and I was a full time mother. I would often have to withdraw from courses, or ended up failing courses to tend to the medical needs of either myself or my children. Being that I was taking courses in a traditions classroom setting, it was not easy for me to continue or pass a class without physically being in the classroom. Do to circumstances...
