Everyone around the world has been living on this planet for years and hasn’t really thought about what would happen with everything that people are doing to the earth. All the climate changes have been going on unnoticed most of the years and our environment and people have been dealing with the changes. Our climate needs to be taken care of since we live on this planet and it is our food, animals, and plants need to survive as well. People have come to realize that our planet is in trouble and need our help. Group’s people around the world have been trying to get people to understand about our environment.
I think that the issues that surround Global Warming are very important and need to be made an issue. Even with all the environmental groups people still do take the time out and do the little things that can help our planet. The issues that are starting to happen in the past years are beginning to take notice around the world. With all the changes in our climate it is starting to become very dangerous and will result in a catastrophic climate change if people continue to not do nothing about our planet("Greenpeace", n.d.)..
Some of the issues that are here in the North Carolina area are clean water, Preservation, Clean energy, Global warming, and Clean air. The Global warming issue will cause the sea levels to rise on our coast lines and they will begin to disappear. With the warmer water it will produce severe tropical storms and hurricanes that will cause great damage to the Outer Banks and coast line towns and more flooding in the state. This is just part of the issue as our cities will get smoggier, the ski industry will decline and our Christmas tree farms will die out from our planet warming. There is some much that people can try to do just by making a few changes in their lifestyle to help the planet
