Imagine, if you were in a desperate situation, like in an abusive home, and this one random guy from the street told you all these things. Things like you’ll have a great life, you’ll have a great future, you’ll have everything you wanted, but you have to do just one thing for him which turns into human trafficking, where they mistreat you, abuse you, hit you. Now that’s happening because they tricked you, and told you all these lies that weren't true. Laura Abasi became one of the girls of human trafficking when she was just 18 years old. For example, they forced girls to do things they don’t want to. For example they are sold to the human traffickers, and afterward the human traffickers end up thinking that the girls are their property. According to, “Sex Trafficking: Who's to Blame?” the article explains, “ if you catch the buyers — therefore reducing “demand” for prostitution — you can seriously reduce the businesses of pimps and sex traffickers,” (Morrison, 2013) This shows us that most of the traffickers treat the girls like their property when they get sold to other men. They end up treating the girls like their property and sell them, and sell them to other men and that’s when they end up being “their property.” They use the girls against their will. The trafficker usually end up using the girl’s against their will so they can sell them to men. Not only do they treat girls like their property, but they mistreat the girls every time for no reason, or sometimes they hit the because they didn’t want to do what they were told. Also, human traffickers should be punished be punished by law because they tricked the girls. they treat the girls but it’s because she didn’t know what she was going through so they know the way to get into their head. Most people think this is wrong, because if you live in an abusive home don't let a unknown man come into your life telling you that you can have anything you could have just for the price of one. Or sometimes the girls do something good for their family, and they don’t care what they come for, they just care about the money. After all most people, don’t go into human trafficking but they don’t decide to go into human trafficking, it’s sometimes just to help out their family, or sometimes they end up tricking them telling them all the nice things they want to hear, and they end up being in human trafficking. After all, many people like Lakshmi who go out to help their family, but end up in human trafficking. Don’t just send them to go work because the parents can’t go work for some reason. Instead give them a chance to get an education to get a better future and that’s how they’ll help. Or if you get tricked by an unknown man don’t fall for their game
