...Military Weapons and Gear It is very important at all times for a soldier to know where their weapon ,headset or any equipment are. Especially when at war. A soldier without his/her equipment is handicapped, he she can not defend him or herself from enemy fire without having their weapon ready ,nor communicate with people in their convoy without their headset. Having your weapon and headset secure is also a matter of safety. Going out on any mission in the military without necessary equipment is dangerous. A soldier can not be ready to engage the enemy without his/her necessary equipment near and ready. Also when you know where your weapons, headsets, and other equipment are you are providing a good example to other soldiers on how to always keep track of important items. Keeping track of important items is part of a soldier’s many duties. Accountability in the Army is very important. Whether it be with people or with items and weapons. A good military can not function without always having accurate accountability. That also applies to individual soldiers and their gear. I personally appreciate my M16 rifle. It is powerful and efficient. I know that I can use it to protect me if my life is ever threatened. When I have it with me i feel protected. Whether I have a round in the chamber or not. I do not like neglecting to have it with me when I go out because it’s like a part of my body is missing without it at my side. I think the policy of having soldiers carry their weapons with them...

...clear early Saturday morning around 4:30 am, I completed my shift on a part time detail at a popular hip-hop night club that I worked for off duty along with two additional officers. The club serves alcohol to the 21 year old and over crowd. The capacity level is reach quite frequently every Saturday night. The potential party goers who can not gain entry try to hangout in the parking lot of the club. The club owner employed several off duty police officers with myself included to deter in crime or incidents on the property after the club is closed at 4:00 am. My job was to ensure that no loitered in the dimly lighted parking lot of the club. I would walk the parking area in my full department issued uniform to give the show of officer presence to hinder any crime that could potentially take place. I checked to ensure there were no disputes physical or verbal in the parking area. A clear presence disrupted any vehicle theft or vandalism too. I walked the parking area and gave verbal instructions to individuals who sat in or just stood by vehicles to make entry to the establishment or depart the property. A combination of alcohol and poor judgement has been a factor with people who did not follow instructions in the parking area. At 4:00 am, one of the security guards for the club opened the front door and I could hear the DJ say that the club was closed. The loud music had stopped and people began to exit the club to the parking lot. I stood near the exit to ensure that no...

...Running head: LETHAL WEAPON Round in the chamber or not James Hardy SECR 5010 Lethal Weapon Today’s question facing the United States Armed Forces is, “Should Military Police (MP) carry a weapon that has a round in the chamber, with a full magazine, while performing law enforcement duties on installations?” I will analyze this question by giving facts to support my legal and ethical arguments, then I will take a opposing opinion that is supported with legal and ethical arguments, and final I will close by reassessing my initial response and indicate whether I have changed my opinion or not. I Support rounds in the chamber I believe that MP should be authorized to carry a loaded weapon. We are authorized to carry a weapon with loaded magazines and the logic of a reasonable person should say that the rationale we are carrying the weapon is to be able to use it if all other means of nonlethal tactics fail (like verbal judo). But, without the round in the chamber, doesn’t my weapon (firearm) becomes synonymous to being nonlethal? And if a MP draws his weapon, isn’t it because he is trying to ward off deadly force to defend himself or the public against those rare situations, such as threats of death or serious bodily injury? So why are we as leaders, standing for MP to carry a lethal weapon that does not have a round in the chamber? The time it takes to load a round in the chamber of a empty weapon may cost that MP or innocent bystander their life. I feel that we train...

...Business Law February 19, 2014 Federal: Legislative Agency Article I of the United States Constitution created the Legislative Agency/Branch which is one of three agencies: Judicial, Executive, and Legislative. The Legislative Division of the Federal Government is a combination of the House of Representatives or House of Rep's, which has 435 elected representatives over the 50 states, and the Senate, which together, form the United States Congress, as well as the Legislative Branch. A power granted to the Legislative Agency from the U.S. Constitution gives Congress the authority over creating Laws by voting on them, and to declare war if necessary. The Legislative also has the authority to agree on, or disagree with, Presidential decisions and use their investigative power when necessary. The Proposal I chose from the 113th Congress (2013-2014) H.R.437 SEC. 3. Indicates that restrictions on assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices be prohibited. I'm for one, am very pleased with this proposal because although we have the right to bear arms such as rifles and shotguns, civilians should not be permitted to own assault weapons or be able to buy the applicable ammunition. This proposition interests me because I’m all for bearing arms but I do not agree with people stock piling large amounts of automatic weapons or automatic weapon ammunition. Simple and plain, there’s no reason to have it and maybe if it wasn’t so...

...parties, I would classify myself as a conservative Democrat. When it comes to social issues, I tend to take a more liberal stance, but I have very conservative views on the economy. In general, Democrats are more open to change and are more in favor of a larger federal government while Republicans are more in favor of the morals of the founding fathers and prefer a smaller federal government to larger state governments. According to “On The Issues”, Democrats believe in focusing on public schooling while Republicans believe in a wide variety of options and choices. Liberals favor college tuition to qualify for a tax deductible as well as making preschools affordable to everyone. They believe that in order to achieve excellence in schools, we must provide safe and modern classrooms with the most up-to-date technology. Eighth grade computer literacy and the mastering of basics before high school graduation are also more liberal views. Not only do Democrats wish to ride achievement gaps between races, the also want to provide “life-long education” meaning that trade schools and higher education are available to a person throughout their entire life. Democrats also believe that schools should teach students good values to create productive character as well as providing students who have been expelled an opportunity to attend a “second-chance school”. While I agree with all of these liberal opinions, I do not believe in creating new schools, as do liberals. Instead, I want to see...

...biscuits in order to finish something. In a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest, probably my physical fitness as a college student is at 3. I started getting fat during my high school years and I blame my sweet tooth for that because I am really into sweets. The perks of being a young woman encouraged me to be more conscious of myself and my body as well. Upon entering college, I started having Zumba at home following a video I downloaded from Youtube. During my first few weeks in college, I make sure to make it a habit to have Zumba every morning for atleast 30 minutes. Luckily, I lost pounds. When the college life started to heat on with all the works needed to finish, sometimes I already skip exercises. However, during my spare time I conduct simple exercises just to sweat up a little bit and stretch. I am not much strict to my eating habits because simply I love to eat. I am more strict on my intake of rice. I make sure that I only eat 2 cups of rice every day. I also drink tea every morning for easier digestion. I also limit myself from soft drinks and junk foods after a history of having Urinary Tract Infection or UTI. Whenever I have time to visit Bankerohan, I also buy enough fruits to eat for a week consumption. As of the moment, I am into water treatment which I have read in an article. And I can really say that I am feeling the good results. Yes, college is indeed stressful...

...Gun Control in Montana I am for the gun control that is in Montana for the reasons of not needing to register any of your guns, no magazine capacity, only needing a concealed weapons permit for a handgun, and the Peaceable Journey Laws. The gun control in Montana is not very restricting. You do not need to register any of your firearms in Montana. There is also no assault rifle law, with this law in place it makes it harder or impossible to buy an assault rifle. With the no assault rifle law, there is also no magazine capacity limit with long barrels or handguns. There is also no owner license required to own a long barrel or handgun firearm. In the state of Montana there is only a concealed weapon permit with handguns and not long barrel...

...The Nuclear Weapons are pulling people apart. They are ruining homes, families and friends. Innocent people are dying over something they didn't even do. Do you really want your family, friends and children to get killed over these nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons are harmful weapons that you don't need in life. I say you should have them and some don't. I am against nuclear weapons. I think you have no reason to have nuclear weapons to kill people. Nuclear weapons can kill innocent people who don't need to be killed. When they chose to drop nuclear weapons, they dropped them on cities and whole regions. Thousands of innocent people would die. They are not just soldiers that are in a battlefield fighting. It's a whole city, full of men, women,...

You might want to consider doing your full research before ranting away at the president or the so called Islamic terrorists. Twice the amount of people have been killed by non "islamic radicals", "muslims" and "jihads". Common denominator in a mass shooting is not a muslim, its a GUN/Weapon. No is telling you that you can not buy a gun, you have a full right to use that amendment. But its the process of obtaining a weapon. I dont know the numbers but I am sure many of these mass shooting have not been possible if these people with serious mental issues and extremist didn't have easy access to guns. ...Backstory: Was it all a hallucination? How did this controller get in my hand? Am I going crazy? I guess I was so desperate for an Xbox 720; I imagined all of this or did I? I guess the moral of this story is that patience is a virtue. Premise: I am in a crossover world of Homerville. The characters of the game are Homer Simpson and I am the mighty Goliath fighting to gain my world back from Homerville. It will be a tough battle as I wage my destiny against Homer and his sidekicks, but Goliath is mighty and will not battle long or alone. Game-style Premise: It all begins on a Saturday night. I am playing on my Xbox 720, when suddenly a blue light flashes in your face, temporarily blinding me. I am knocked out and when I awaken, I find my neighborhood has been taken over by Homer Simpson’s neighborhood. My house is gone and replaced with all the homes and characters associated with Homer Simpson. I am Goliath, the great neighborhood protector, who will fight to the death to destroy Homerville and anyone who gets in my way. The Aliens, Kand and Kodos will help me to rebuild my neighborhood and use bulldozers and other weapons to fight the characters that stand in the way. I will personally destroy structures built by Homer that will strip Homer of his strength until he shrivels into dust. The goal of this game is to destroy Homer Simpson, his sidekicks and their neighborhood by using weapons to weaken the enemy and rebuild my neighborhood, freeing myself from the virtual...

He jumps back from the door as he responds,”Well, I am a lot taller, so you’re little to me,”...

...is broken by consent, the spear cut asunder and turned into a pruning-hook, the sword beaten into a ploughshare, and the chariots of war are burned, there being no more occasion for them; or, rather, it may be meant of what he does, at other times, in favour of his own people. He makes those wars to cease that were waged against them and designed for their ruin. He breaks the enemies' bow that was drawn against them. No weapon formed against Zion shall prosper, Isa 54:17. The total destruction of Gog and Magog is prophetically described by the burning of their weapons of war (Ezek 39:9,10), which intimates likewise the church's perfect security and assurance of lasting peace, which made it needless to lay up those weapons of war for their own service. The bringing of a long war to a good issue is a work of the Lord, which we ought to behold with wonder and thankfulness. II. As King of saints, and as such we must own that great and marvellous are his works, Rev 15:3. He does and will do great things, 1. For his own glory (v. 10): Be still, and know that I am God. (1.) Let his enemies be still, and threaten no more, but know it, to their terror, that he is God, one infinitely above them, and that will certainly be too hard for them; let them rage no more, for it is all in vain: he that sits in heaven, laughs at them; and, in spite of all their impotent malice...
