I’m mistakable! I irritate while that happen… Rumors and flings. Accidentally I fell…. Am I still take this chance to be with him or go away and live my life in darkest?” >>>>>Airielle Hoover “I am still doing the right for you. Don’t worry I will be there though you making me fastened and lice. Remember me! Begging you to please give me chance Airielle. “ >>>>>Austine Curl Xiu The reason why people hated to be with someone is that, they cannot find themselves a private way to express their own emotions and expressions. Other people might says, “Better to be with someone who will make you happy”, what if the reason why you prefer to be alone is that someone who you want to be with is always ignoring you when you need his help or let say his affection and belongingness is not unto you. What if every time you go for, is just like you’re a wind and crap to that person? How can you stay and find time to reassure that he will give you more time to talk with your problems or flaws either? How should you see yourself to be trapped and when you fall asleep the only thing you can imagine is your already dead without knowing and feel it? Life is really unfair and so ridiculous, you cannot find your way and purpose to anyone’s life and you always rethink...

...“We are all ordinary people but even an ordinary person can within their own small ways turn on a small light in a dark room.” Miep Gies A Brief Summary of the movie Freedom Writers Freedom Writers is a 1990s film which tells the story of Erin Gruwell, a novice teacher and her interaction with a group of students at Wilson High School, located in Long Beach Los Angeles. Through shared experiences and writing she helps the students to become writers themselves. In the beginning of the film, Ms. G, as she was called by her students, had difficulty establishing a connection with her students and turns to her father and husband for support. Her offers guidance, but not the support she seeks. Her husband distances himself from her work and eventually their relationship. Ms. G in turn, dedicates herself to teaching her students, leaving little time for nothing else. She takes on part-time jobs to buy books for the students and spends late nights working in the classroom. The Head of Department and the faculty at large contributes little to helping Erin in the classroom. They offer advice based on institutional standards and past performance of the students, some staff suggesting that the students simply “don’t want to learn.” At the center of the film, lie the stories of the students. The students are skeptical of Ms. G and her interest in their lives. Initially, they resist her attempts and refuse to cross the self-inflicted boundaries they have designated...

...To Kill A Mockingbird A summary of the novel by Harper Lee Doris Griffin Colorado Technical University Online June 23, 2012 Author Note This paper was prepared for LITR240-1202B-09, Phase 5 IP, taught by Professor Daniel Lambert. Abstract Harper Lee wrote only one novel in her life. To Kill A Mockingbird, in a research done by the Book-Of-The-Month Club in 1991 ranked second to the Bible. The novel still draws a million new readers each year. The novel contains two stores, the innocence of childhood as told by Scout and the story of her father who was asked to defend a Negro who was accused of raping a white woman. (Shields, C., 2006) Two of the themes of the novel are justice and tolerance. The two are joined together when Atticus explains to Scout how to understand all kinds of people by walking around in their skin. (Shields, C., 2006) To Kill A Mockingbird is a story to learn a life’s lesson from. The innocence of a child is genuine and they are taught racism and hate by their elders. Children at a young age do not see black or white, rich or poor, or understand what racism means. They are just children who believe that everyone is good and they trust with all their hearts. To Kill a Mockingbird The story is set in and old town in Alabama, Maycomb. The town is described as a quiet and dull town in the 1930’s. Scout is one of the main characters in the story. She is naïve and innocent as children are. She has an older brother, Jem, that...

...Zita Feher WLCB Level3HSC 0060615 27 July 2015 Factors that Impact upon my Learning and Development In this assignment I will consider how different factors can impact on adult l1earning, including my own learning and development. INTRODUCTION Learning is a permanent change in behaviour or knowledge that comes from experience or training. What does this really mean? We all 'know things' and we can all perform a number of different behaviours. But where did all this come from? Some things are born with the individual. E.g the ability to eat or express basic emotions like happiness or sadness. Others must be acquired throughout life. Any knowledge or behaviour that we now possess but we were not born with, was somehow learned from the people and environment around us. Children are natural learners. They learn by from the way they are spoken to and generally, the way they are treated by the people around them. Imitation is one of the most important ways of acquisiton in childhood, later playing takes over and 'the learners' gather most of the information about the world around them through 'doing' and experiencing. Adult learning is different from childhood learning. With adult learning personal experience plays a big part in the learning process as new information is instinctively checked against the learners own experience. (This is probably one of the reasons why learning a foreign language as an adult is so different from learning it in childhood.) David Kolb...

Language use My name is Francis Joseph Cassavant and I have just returned to Frenchtown in Monument and the war is over and I have no face. – compound sentence – pared gives only what he considers as essentials metaphor ‘ I have no face’ why is this effective? simile ‘ my nostrils are like two small caves’ – why is this effective? ...Plot Overview The first chapter of The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter introduces us to John Singer and Spiros Antonapoulos, two good friends who live together in a town in the Deep South and who are both deaf-mutes. Antonapoulos works in his cousin's fruit store, and Singer works as a silver engraver in a jewelry shop. They spend ten years living together in this way. One day Antonapoulos gets sick, and even after he recovers he is a changed man. He begins stealing and urinating on buildings, and exhibiting other erratic behavior. Finally, Antonapoulos's cousin sends him to a mental asylum, although Singer would rather have Antonapoulos stay with him. After Antonapoulos leaves, Singer moves into a local boarding house in town run by a family named the Kellys. The narrator then introduces us to Biff Brannon, the proprietor of the New York Café, the establishment in town where Singer now eats all his meals. Biff is lounging on the counter watching a new patron named Jake Blount, as the constantly drunk Jake is intriguing. Blount goes over and sits with Singer and begins talking to him as though the two are good friends. Then Singer leaves. Once Jake realizes in his drunken stupor that Singer has left, he goes into an alley and begins beating his head and fists against a brick wall until he is bruised and bloody. The police bring Jake back to the café, and Singer volunteers to let the drunk stay the night with him. The narrative shifts to the perspective of Mick Kelly, the young teenage...
