1. If I am correct I believe your main point was focused on how your brother’s disability is something not just only he but you have to deal with and adjust to. I didn’t have a clear view of what your points were though. Maybe u should mention actually in the narrative what you are writing it for. Such as “I am writing this narrative because…” 2. Yes, your paper was definitely interesting to read I actually loved reading it. I could really feel the voice and frustration from many things throughout the narrative, maybe in your conclusion to make It seem complete wrap up the main point of you writing the narrative and summarize the mini points you were mentioning throughout the narrative. In your point I wasn’t really sure exactly what they were maybe you could state exactly what the points are.

3. The organization of your paper was actually great and very easy to follow. If you make your thesis and points more clear you’ll definitely have a great paper. 4. I believe you explained your brother’s disability very clear. You explained how he got help and also how it affected you. Maybe you could mention how you have gone about adjusting to it now that you are older and the benefits of coming from a home that dealt with a kid that has autism.

5. Maybe you could place one of the readings we had in your narrative such as one of the categories from the broken images reading. That would fit perfectly in your narrative

6. The overall tone I loved because I can feel how you felt in many different situations just by your choice of words.

7. What you did best was stated how you felt and how it affected you. Maybe you could mention how it affected your brother more and make your points more straight

...Immigrants Need Support The dangers that are seen on the border have increased drastically year by year. The U.S. Border Patrol has impacting gangs, cartels and immigrants on the Mexican border. The U.S. Border Patrol faces danger when they go up against the drug cartels at the border because the people the drug cartels send across the border sometimes carry firearms, making it difficult for the border to determine if they should open fire on the person. There are many places along the U.S. border where these groups are put at high risk for safety. There is no guaranteed safety for either side, therefore based off the decision, to cross or not to cross, the consequences of what happen depends on the individual. There are people, coyotes, who know of certain parts of the border where they can help immigrants cross but they do not guarantee that they will make it across safely. Immigrant families Immigration from the Southern Mexico to the United States occurs on a freight train, “La Bestia” which takes passengers directly to the United States border, starting in Chiapas and crossing all of Mexico until the border (Watson and Jerrreat). These passengers ride on top of the train or in the freights, putting their life at risk to the point of death. One important aspect of this train is that drug cartels are in charge of the fees mounting the train. They charge what is equivalent to 100 dollars (Watson and Jerreat). Once that is paid in some form or another, they still pose many...

...John Smith, and I am a senior at Frederick Douglass High School. I am a good student with a 3.4 grad point average. The university that I want to attend is Georgia Tech because I want to be a civil engineer and there are many reasons why I should be enrolled. Firstly, I am a hard working and dedicated student. Secondly, I am a friendly, sociable person. Finally, I have condemned myself to be a success. Primarily, I am a hard working and dedicated student. I’ve always put my best in everything that I’ve done academically. I am not the type of person who gets put up to a big challenge and backs down. I will always rise to the peak of my production and accomplish my goal. For example, I was one of the few selected out of many to participate in the Semester Abroad program with APS. I had to be interviewed in Spanish and I had to be able to respond in Spanish. Moreover, I am a friendly, sociable person. Everyone who knows me can attest to that. I am hardly ever in a bad mood that would take me to the point of being rude or inconsiderate to someone else. Just about everyone I meet I am able to get along with. I am never disrespectful to my elders or people of authority. I try to greet everyone I meet with a smile. I believe that one bad impression can mess up a reputation that may have taken a lifetime to gain. Ultimately, I have condemned myself to be a success. Words of faith are the only thing that keeps me steadily walking along my path to success. That is why I engraved it upon...

...Marketing – Limitations and constraints on marketing activities. SALE OF GOODS ACT 1979 - The Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) is crucial for consumers because it refers to laws which have extended the basic 1979 Act and using the phrase tells the trader that not only do you know basic consumer law, you know it has been amended too. The Sale of Goods Act lays down several conditions that all goods sold by a trader must meet. The goods must be: * as described * of satisfactory quality * fit for purpose As described refers to any advert or verbal description made by the trader. Satisfactory quality covers minor and cosmetic defects as well as substantial problems. It also means that products must last a reasonable time. But it doesn't give you any rights if a fault was obvious or pointed out to you at point of sale. Fit for purpose covers not only the obvious purpose of an item but any purpose you queried and were given assurances about by the trader. CONSUMER PROTECTION FROM UNFAIR TRADING REGULATIONS 2008 - There are three main sections in the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations. These are as follows: * The general ban on unfair commercial practices * Misleading and aggressive practices which are assessed in light of the effect they have, or are likely to have, on the average consumer * The Black List which contains the list of those practices which are unfair and thus banned Companies are not allowed to use misleading or underhand tactics...

You Have No Idea What I Thinking

...You Have No Idea What I’m Thinking Throughout any given day, anyone and everyone have thoughts fluttering through their mind. Whether positive or negative, most are kept in the mind. In, “On the Amtrak from Boston to New York,” Sherman Alexie expresses cultural differences, but retains his thoughts to himself and respect towards another. No matter how deep down, I believe that everyone has a personal bias towards another in his or her society. If that were not true, then the whole human race would get along and be in harmony. Alexie allows reader to be in his mind in this scenario. From the start, the narrator has a negative tone with his choice of words towards this white woman, so the reader could recognize that he does not want to communicate with her. Alexie...

I Have No Idea What I'M Doing

...Nature of Religion and Beliefs What is a Worldview? One of the biggest problems of present society is the effect of overall change and acceleration on human psychology. Neither individual minds nor collective culture seem able to cope with the unpredictable change and growing complexity. Stress, uncertainty and frustration increase, minds are overloaded with information, knowledge fragments, values erode, negative developments are consistently overemphasized, while positive ones are ignored. The resulting climate is one of nihilism, anxiety and despair. While the wisdom gathered in the past has lost much of its validity, we don't have a clear vision of the future either. As a result, there does not seem to be anything left to guide our actions. What we need is a framework that ties everything together, that allows us to understand society, the world, and our place in it, and that could help us to make the critical decisions which will shape our future. It would synthesize the wisdom gathered in the different scientific disciplines, philosophies and religions. Rather than focusing on small sections of reality, it would provide us with a picture of the whole. In particular, it would help us to understand, and therefore cope with, complexity and change. Such a conceptual framework may be called a "world view". A model of the world It should allow us to understand how the world functions and how it is structured. "World" here means the totality, everything that exists around...

John Locke's An Essay Concerning Human Understanding

...I am going to argue the following: The world around us as we know it can only be known to us through sense-data: what we gather through our senses that have been fed by our experiences. “Sense data,” argues John Locke, “ are the alleged mind-dependent objects that we are directly aware of in perception, and that have exactly the properties they appear to have” (Huemer, 2004) For as one person may hold the view of a celestial being's guiding and shaping all of events driven by an immutable ideal, another may view this terrestrial experience of ours as an accident driven by a series of unpredictable events that can only be roughly calculated by what feeble and temporary instruments we have to measure, the tools of math and science. School System

...I have a few ideas that I think would help improve our school system at Spain Park High School. I have three main ideas and points that I will explain and back up with my reasons. My first idea is to have a ten to twenty minute break at some point during the school day. My second idea is to return the exchange of caffeinated beverages. My last idea is in class the teachers shouldn’t lecture as much as simply showing how to do the work. I think these ideas would greatly improve the likeness of school by attendants and improve the overall grades in the school. My first idea is to have a ten to twenty minute break in at some point during the school day. I think that this would give the students and teachers a break to relieve some stress and rejuvenate their decrepit minds therefore improving the compatibility of the teachers and students. I know this will also improve the recalcitrance of the students that are having trouble with behavior problems, the break would just calm them down so they would be so stressed and tired. The breaks I have proposed would be in two groups, seeming there is A lunch which is early and C lunch which is late. There should be a break in between the beginning of the day and C lunch for those who have lunch C. For those who have A lunch there should be a break in between A lunch and the end of the day. People with B lunch would split up between the two break times. This, I’m sure, will help the stress that is put on people throughout the school day,...

How Do People Get New Ideas

...I think the essay "How do people get news ideas" absolutely relate to our course and LINKS. Working as a team is to bring people in many skills together in order to solve problems, to gather information and even to get new ideas. I found some quote that relate to this, as followed: If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an "idea" and I have an "idea" and we exchange these "ideas", then each of us will have two ideas.---George Bernard Shaw According to Isaac Asimov' essay, The optimum number of the group would probably not be very high. I should guess that no more than five would be wanted. A larger group might have a larger total supply of information, but there would be the tension of waiting to speak, which can be very frustrating. It is absolutely true. Although having a large number of people within team may provide a lot of information, it will frustrate to members. Then within the team should collect only appropriate people such as different skills. However, teams have proved that they can make many great solutions and provide several new ideas, but sometime those Ideas may be similar because they do, work, think in the same or similar environment. According to the essay, sometimes teams need to have a conference at different places such as coffee stores and someone' home to have new environment and it easier to get new ideas. To improve individual skills are also important...

Start Up Ideas

...The way to get startup ideas is not to try to think of startup ideas. It's to look for problems, preferably problems you have yourself. The very best startup ideas tend to have three things in common: they're something the founders themselves want, that they themselves can build, and that few others realize are worth doing. Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, Google, and Facebook all began this way. Problems Why is it so important to work on a problem you have? Among other things, it ensures the problem really exists. It sounds obvious to say you should only work on problems that exist. And yet by far the most common mistake startups make is to solve problems no one has. I made it myself. In 1995 I started a company to put art galleries online. But galleries didn't want to be online. It's not how the art business works. So why did I spend 6 months working on this stupid idea? Because I didn't pay attention to users. I invented a model of the world that didn't correspond to reality, and worked from that. I didn't notice my model was wrong until I tried to convince users to pay for what we'd built. Even then I took embarrassingly long to catch on. I was attached to my model of the world, and I'd spent a lot of time on the software. They had to want it! Why do so many founders build things no one wants? Because they begin by trying to think of startup ideas. That m.o. is doubly dangerous: it doesn't merely yield few good ideas; it yields bad ideas that sound plausible enough...
