Corporal punishment is abusing a child in order to punish, including physical or verbal abuse by parents, school or other officials. Corporal punishment in is a terrible way of disciplining your children for many reason. It can cause poor cognitive development. It gives a teachers a reason to abuse a children because of their race or beliefs. It also depict violence can solve problems, and not knowing any better the children will practice what they see and get into bad situations. Children are very impressionable they practice what they do because they don’t know any better. It is very hard for children to do the right thing if they don’t have anyone to look up to as a role model because all they see is violence and hatred. There is great saying “Don’t be so quick to judge if you’re not so quick to teach and by doing that you yourself might learn something.” Corporal punishment can lead to depression and cause children to commit suicide or to bully other children to relieve some of the pain are holding themselves not realizing their just continuing the vicious circle of violence. Beside the Mental aspect, the physical can be much worst it can cause injuries and death. It is true many people don’t know what is happening when they hit ta child and forget their own strength and kill a child. They are some many different ways to discipline your child other than physical or verbal means. People see it as just word but for a young and developing child it can cause them to do thing to them self or other people to express how those hurtful words make them feel. There is great saying “anything living thing is has the potential to do great things but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb it will feel stupid it entire life”, hence we should try and help find out the problem of that child in particular is misbehaving instead of just instead adding to his or her problems. So in conclusion banning corporal punishment was and still a good idea for children and teachers it gives them both critical thinking and shows children that there is a way to solve problems without violence
