IMPOSSIBLE

I remember years ago
Someone told me
I should take Caution
When it comes to love
I did, I did-------

And you were strong and I was not
My illusion, my mistake I was careless, I forgot I did

And now when all is done
There is nothing to say
You have gone and so effortlessly
You have won
You can go ahead tell them

Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line
All we had is gone now

Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open

Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible

Falling out of love is hard
Falling for betrayal is worst
Broken trust and broken hearts
I know, I know--------

Thinking all you need is there
Building faith on love and words
Empty promises will wear
I know, I know--------

And now when all is gone
There is nothing to say
And if you're done with embarrassing me
On your own you can go ahead tell them

Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line

All we had is gone now
Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open

Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible!

Ooh impossible (yeah yeah)

I remember years ago
Someone told me I should take
Caution when it comes to love
I did

Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line
All we had is gone now

Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open

Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible

...I was a precocious kid, the kind that’s remarkably well-spoken for a 6 year old, and everyone thinks it’s cute. At that time I figured, since I got along with adults so well, I must be pretty much on par. I knew I had facts and figures to learn, but obviously I operated on a similar level. But then I turned 10, and I could plainly see how much sophistication I lacked when I was only 6. I’ll skip the montage, you get it, this is an ongoing process. But think about this. Now that you’re an adult, when is the last time you can remember being young and dumb? What is the oldest you can remember being, when you were a categorically different person? I remember turning 18, and I’m talking to this girl online for a couple months, and fast forward a year and I’ve eloped with her. That was dumb. I’m 21, I’m spending a lot of my week as an officer in this “business fraternity” at my third tier business school because I have this vague idea that it’s a “great networking opportunity,” whatever the fuck that means. That was pretty dumb. It gets fuzzier at that point. As an adult you have fewer growth experiences than you do as a child, so it takes longer. The gap between now and when you were young and dumb gets longer and longer. That’s a bad thing. I have a theory that you should strive to keep that gap as short as possible. Every year you should look back and think about what a dumbass you were a year ago. That way, you know you’re growing. To phrase it another way...

..." That we cannot remember some of our memories, but if we have the objects that are related to those memories, we will be able to restore them. Those objects can be postcards, photographs, watch, and necklaces. By looking to those objects the mind automatically will start playing the memories episodes. We will start watching the memories that are connected with those objects, and remembering everything about the missing memories. The author was talking about the kitchen closet in her grandparents’ apartment, and how this closet became a source of her family memories. She means by “The Objects we Think With.” Is our objects are part of our identities, and our memories are associated with those objects. Objects such as, postcard, key chain, and photograph were a part of the author memories, that when she see those objects, she will remember the events that had happened many years ago. She is trying to find her father, but because she does not have any objects with her father, so it is hard to find him. She means that object is a clue that we can use to solve mysteries and to restore the missing memories. The emotion has a huge impact on my life and my goals. Emotions give me patience to solve problems. Sometimes, I feel a lot of anxiety about my tests and how I will perform, but these emotions help me to study hard, and practice more. I have many of objects that I can think with. I got many of objects from my family, friends, and my teachers. When I was 10 years old my dad bought...

...I remember when I lived in Africa. It was many years ago and I was a volunteer doctor there. It was a beautiful place. I remember one evening in particular. I was walking towards our village with some mothers and children. We were carrying home firewood and grain for the evening meal. It was a special occasion. It was one of the grandfathers’ birthdays. We were just approaching the village when we spotted a huge lion coming towards us. He looked angry and hungry. We were very frightened, the children started to cry. I didn’t know what to do. I was frozen with shock. One of the women had a goat on a rope. She quickly unleashed the goat and pushed it toward the lion. While the lion was distracted attacking the goat, we made our escape to the safety of our village. We were so relived to be safe but we now had no dinner for the feast because we had intended to eat the goat ourselves. Luckily some of the other villagers had a spare goat and threw it our way. ...had changed my life 13 years ago I gave birth to a healthy girl who changed everything about me. Before her birth I was a carefree, immature party girl without a care in the world, after her birth I grew up stopped parting and took on the responsibility that was gifted to me. It has not been a stroll in the park more like a steep climb up a mountain, but it is not something that I would give up no matter how hard it can get. Before the birth of my daughter I was a carefree, immature party girl without a care in the world. I remember spending my days shopping at the mall, not worry about spending too much money. Spending my summer days at the beach of Myrtle beach, NC, going to amusement parks in KC and being at the clubs all night. I remember drinking and dancing the nights away with my friends. I remember just shopping, partying and having a good time. 13 years ago, September 19, 1998 it all changed, I gave birth to my daughter Carly. The day I went in to the hospital to give birth to her was a very exciting day, I checked into the hospital at 5:00 in the morning, they were going to induced me by 6:00 a.m. I remember lying there being so excited and just wanting to see her already. They came in and hooked me up to the IV'S I went 6 hours without feeling any pain, but being so bored just laying there, then the doctor came in and broke my water at 12:00 p.m. and that is when I started wishing it would really all end, the pain was so bad I thought I was going to die, but it...

Audit

...the year ended April 30, 1998. On May 6, 1998, Smith, the senior auditor assigned to the engagement, had the following conversation with Kent concerning the planning phase of the audit: Kent: Do you have all the audit programs updated yet for the SCS engagement? Smith: Mostly, I still have work to do on the fraud risk assessment. Kent: Why? Our "errors and irregularities" program from last year is still OK. It's passed peer review several times. Besides, we don't have specific duties regarding fraud. If we find it, we'll deal with it then. Smith: I don't think so. That new CEO, Mint, has almost no salary, mostly bonuses and stock options. Doesn't that concern you? Kent: No. Mint's employment contract was approved by the Board of Directors just three months ago. It was passed unanimously. Smith: I guess so, but Mint told those stock analysts that SCS's earnings would increase 30% next year. Can Mint deliver numbers like that? Kent: Who knows? We're auditing the '98 financial statements, not '99. Mint will probably amend that forecast every month between now and next May. Smith: Sure, but all this may change our other audit programs. Kent: No, it won't. The programs are fine as is. If you find fraud in any of your tests, just let me know. Maybe we'll have to extend the tests. Or maybe we'll just report it to the audit committee. Smith: What would they do? Green is the audit committee's chair, and remember, Green hired Mint. They've been best friends for years. Besides...

...1. Why and when did you migrate to Australia? We came out to Australia in 1967. We left Scotland on the 3rd of May and arrived on the 5th of May. The reason we come out to um, Australia is that, although I had a good job over in the UK, we were finding it hard to make ends meet. So we come to the land of milk and honey, Australia! 2. Did you have a job when you arrive in Australia? Well my main qualification for work was, I was a qualified mining engineer so I thought I would continue with that in Australia so I had a job with the Belamby Co. Company in New South Wales. But on the way over we stopped in Whyalla in South Australia to see my wife’s parents and in a couple of weeks we had sort of run out of money so I went down to the BHP and they gave me a job as a Project Engineer on the construction of the coal ovens there and the wage was quite good, it was three times what I was getting before. So we stayed in Whyalla longer than we thought we would an I phoned the Belamby Co. Company up and said that we weren’t taking up the job and were going to stay in Whyalla for a little while, which we did and we made a lot of friends there and eventually there was a job in the paper for a production Engineer with Alcoa, which is an aluminium producing company in Geelong and I applied for that and got the job so we moved to Geelong. 3. Who was waiting for you when you arrived in Australia? When we arrived here, we came via Qantas and we flew into Brisbane and had all the...

My Special Place Research Paper

...have. I have many vivid memories of driving my old, little, blue four-wheeler through the tall weeds and grass of the field with thorns occasional hitting me. I also remember playing our makeshift games of baseball in the front yard with my sister and one of my relatives if they felt like it. There is still the old, yellow pieces of rope tied around the trees that we designated as a base. Because of its distance from a nearby creek, it has a smell that resembles the stream, which smells like swampy water. Since Micajah Gold lives across the street from the home, every other weekend, there is a slight scent of pig feces, which as you could imagine isn't the nicest smell. Because it's pretty far away from the city limits, the only sounds the are audible are the sounds of crickets, frogs,...

Life's Boundaries

...Boundaries When I was little, my father left us --- me and my mom. I met him after 16 years then. That’s when he starts supporting me, financially. My Mom and Dad were civil with each other. They only talk when it has something to do with me. My Dad, he always gave me what I want. Yes, it’s want. Not need. My Mom, sometimes she fails me to give me what I want but surely, she never failed to give me what I need. My Mom, I really love her. We used to bond together, like going to the mall after we attended the Sunday mass and even picnics. When my birthday came, I really wished for something I never had, gadgets maybe. So, when my Mom gave me her gift, I was surprised because she handed me an iPad Mini. So I hugged her and kissed her a lot. After that, everything was just ‘used to be’. When we’re at home or somewhere else, she’s trying to have a quality time with me but I’m not minding her because her because I was busy reading Watt pad using the iPad that she gave me. I always have my phone and iPad with me as if I can’t live without them. Time just passed by like that, my Mom taking care of me while I was little busy on my study and spent more time with my gadgets and social media instead of spending it with my her. One day, I noticed that she’s taking some medicine, that I know she doesn’t do before. I asked her one time, she just smiled at me so I think she’s just doing fine. After that, I went back to my normal routines. But as time goes by, she looks a little paler. But I just shrugged...

Math and Me

...sixes already today?” I can remember thinking this like it was yesterday instead of 29 years ago. I was in first grade, and we were doing our times tables. I had been the first one to do all of my numbers so far in the class, and now Sara was up there doing her sixes before I knew them. That would just not do for me, so that night I went home and learned the rest of my numbers, six through nine, to be able to do them for the teacher the very next day. I guess you can say that this is where my love for math started. I am not saying that I never had to study or that I have never struggled with any math in my life, but for the most part, most of the math classes I have taken in my life have come pretty easily to me. I love when you are struggling with something in math and all of a sudden you have that a-ha moment where everything suddenly makes sense. In the past I have taken all the basics in math including Algebra and Geometry. However, these courses were also taken almost 20 years ago, and I have to admit that I am a bit rusty when it comes to all of the formulas and properties. Even though I may not remember all of the formulas, I still consider my previous courses a success. I may not remember the exact formula, but I do remember that the formulas exist and it is just a matter of looking the formula up and plugging in the right numbers to get the correct answer. For example, I remember how I used to love doing proofs in geometry, the longer the better. I probably could not...

Fundamental Analysis of Power Sector

...taking up writing as a career? Well as with all creative pursuits’ content writing also demands a fair bit of creativity apart from consistent quality. But when you have both, writing can be a fulfilling calling indeed. This small content/copy writing interview guide lists the interview questions common to all jobs apart from focusing on the questions more likely to be asked in any interview for a content or Web copy writer. While I was planning to write a small content writing interview guide for a long time what finally made me put my fingers to the keyboard was the truly vast experience gained after giving 11 interviews in 14 days! Persistence does pay at the end of the day. The Getup: As content writing is a relatively informal job, even an informal getup with a semi-formal shirt should do fine. No need for any tie or suit. Punctuality: This is a must irrespective of the job you apply for. Make sure you reach the venue at least 15-20 minutes before the appointed time and put your documents or reference of past work in order and do remember to have an attractive resume in hand. 1) Tell me something about yourself. This is the most common interview question which will almost certainly be asked to any candidate. While it seems a pretty straightforward question many find it the toughest as it’s quite open ended and people fumble when required to speak about themselves rather than about their work and/or skills. But fear not friends. The question is asked merely to...

Aubree Miller Narrative

...I am Aubree Miller. I am 22 years old and I live in Columbus, Ohio. Some of you may have heard of me by the numerous news reports and articles and the amber alerts and things like that. When I was 15 I was kidnapped. The three years I was seperated from my friends and family, I was starved, beaten and sexually assaulted. I am writing this story to explain everything I remember about that horrible Friday night 7 years ago and my life while in captivity. It was a chilly October night in Ohio. The whole town was on our way to the local high school. It was the first time in 26 years that our varsity football team had made it to the championships. To say we were excited would be a vast understatement. My three friends; Chloe, Jada, and Nicole met...

That's Not What I Believe

...That’s Not What I Believe October 2, 2011 Years ago when the winter Olympics were in Salt Lake City a news reporter went around to public places in Utah and interviewed as many Mormons as he could to try and get an idea of what Mormons “really believe.” I distinctly recall how surprised I was when everyone he interviewed, despite all being Mormon, described beliefs that were very different from my own and even different from each other. My mom, sister and I stood around the TV frustrated. How could these people get it so wrong? Didn’t any of them pay attention in church? This was a lesson I wouldn’t internalize until years later. Like many ex-Mormons, I’m guilty as charged when it comes to digging up amusing, factually wrong or plain absurd things that Mormon leaders have said or comment on absurd or destructive teachings. Even so, just because the church teaches something doesn’t mean all Mormons believe a certain way. A really poignant example is the godmakers cartoon, which I should point out is not and never was “banned.” The cartoon suffers from two problems. First, it’s old, and reflects teachings of the church from the 1960s and 70s. It was released in 1982, and of course the exact date that any given teaching was abandoned is rather fuzzy since the leaders don’t exactly go to the pulpit and say “we no longer believe this.” They just stop talking about it. The second problem with that cartoon is that while the church did legitimately teach everything they mention,...
