In the current IEP Joanni’s occupational therapist focused on improving hand function for participation in the classroom with fine motor tasks. Similarly, I also focused on improving Joanni’s hand function with fine motor tasks because it was a huge area of dysfunction for Joanni. Additionally, the occupational therapist also focused on improving Joanni’s ability to use sensory information to understand and effectively interact with people in school and home environment. For the purpose of being pure throughout this intervention plan, I decided that Joanni’s sensory dysfunction was not the primary problem. By the same token when I met Joanni he seemed to effectively interact with me and his peers. There were changes that I noticed Joanni improved
