My advice for Makayla I would tell Makayla to use her confluence and precision patterns when it comes to getting ideas down. Doing research will lead to new ideas.Once she has new ideas, she can begin to brainstorm topics to write on. Sometimes the craziest idea is the best idea. She needs to see how other students would tackle an assignment. By looking at the assignment in a different perspective, it will help her with her originality issues. She also needs to know that there are no wrong answers. As for timid test issues, I would tell her that it's ok to skip questions if she doesn't know them. Bouncing back and forward on timed tests will help her because on some questions, the answers are "right there".
My advice for John I would tell John to think of the audience that he is writing for. It's great that he has so many details to write about but sometimes less is more. Also, that sometimes the audience wants to feel his emotions. Confluence will come in handy because it will drive him to use metaphors. Instead of using acronyms and hope that the reader will understand, a metaphor might help the reader understand what he is really trying to say. I would also tell him to focus on the big picture and not get caught up on the small things…show more content… By writing down the small details and doing some research, he can create step by step instructions for himself. It would be like creating a hand guide that would help him get his work in on
