...ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday has announced ending the party sit-in against the government in the country’s capital saying that the counrty needs unity in this difficult time. He said that PTI would participate in the government’s national plan committee regarding the terrorist attack. PTI chairman said that his party is in such a condition that he could shut the country down if they want to but that would serve no good to the country in the war against terror. For the frst time he saw such a brutal killing of children, he added. He said that the negotiations with the government could not start time and again due to different reasons, the latest being the tragic incident. He said that the country’s situation is such that they have no other option but to end sit-in. The country demands off them to end sit-in for the national solidarity, he added. Khan said that he wants to see Prime Minister (PM) fulfill his promises and form judicial commission for the better future of the democracy of the country. They are not demanding anything that is impossible to provide, PTI chairman said. He said that an unbiased commission would end the crisis in the country as the corrupt people would be punished. Khan urged the PM to have rigging in the General Elections 2013 investigated through judicial commission. Shall they keep on opposing the government in this tough time? ...Violence has been a part of ice hockey since at least the early 1900s. According to the book Hockey: A People's History, in 1904 alone, four players were killed during hockey games from the frequent brawls and violent stick work. Fighting in ice hockey is an established tradition of the sport in North America, with a long history involving many levels of amateur and professional play and including some notable individual fights. While officials tolerate fighting during hockey games, they impose a variety of penalties on players who engage in fights. Unique to North American professional team sports, the National Hockey League (NHL) and most minor professional leagues in North America do not eject players outright for fighting but major European and collegiate hockey leagues do. The debate over allowing fighting in ice hockey games is ongoing. Despite its potentially negative consequences, such as heavier enforcers knocking each other out, some administrators are not considering eliminating fighting from the game, as some players consider it essential. Additionally, the majority of fans oppose eliminating fights from professional hockey games. Examples In an NHL preseason game between the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues on September 21, 1969 Bruins defenseman Ted Green and Blues left wing Wayne Maki, attacking Green, engaged in a bloody stick-swinging fight that resulted in Green sustaining a skull fracture and brain damage, forcing him to miss the entire season of 1969–70...

...Ever since I was in high school I had always debated which corridor of business I should follow. I had always been interested in business and math subjects, and at fifteen I had a glimpse of the real world working in a retail store. The reason I chose Human Resources is because unlike other main stream business professions like accounting and finance, I found that not only would hr allow me to be business oriented, but it would let me think outside the cubicle. A Human Resource personnel accommodates the employees and management into a mutual harmony and allowing the company to function at its most proficient potential. I had the opportunity to experience both good and bad hr personnel’s. At my previous position as a photo developer at Fortinos, the hr Generalist was very biased, as she had been taking more of the managements side and taking less care of the employees. This had eventually caused the unionized environment not to perform to the fullest. This persuaded me in becoming a Human Resource Specialist because I felt like with my people skills I could interact fairly with the employees and upper management while creating no friction in the middle. While most accountants and financial advisors are sitting doing statistics, being part of Human Resource department will allow me to be on the floor with fellow workers, permitting them to evolve with experience and helping the company grow with different development aspects. The main categories someone can fall under if...

As of 2014, Hussain lives in Edgware in north-west London where he applied for and was granted political asylum in 1992. Hussain's political figure has seldom appeared "controversial" to critics[6] who claim that his party showed a readiness to use violence to fight for power. Several allegations of criminal activities have been piled against the MQM involving violence perpetrated by its armed wings, drug trafficking, extortion and land theft.[7] BBC News has called Hussain "one of Pakistan's longest-serving and most powerful and divisive politicians".[8] On 20 May 2013, former cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan accused Hussain of being directly involved in the murder of his party leader Zahra Shahid Hussain[6] and Hussain also faces allegations of...

...Kashmir is missing out on a ‘demographic dividend’ and unable to cash in on its youthful population for lack of initiatives from a state government bogged down by a two-decade-old separatist insurgency. Mercy Corps, a United States-based development agency, found 48 percent of youth in Kashmir unemployed, in a comprehensive survey, the results of which were published in August 2011. According to the survey, Kashmir is experiencing a ‘youth bulge’ with about 70 percent of its 10 million-strong population under the age of 31. The World Bank’s chief economist, Justin Yifu Lin, submits in his blog ‘Let’s Talk Development’ on Jan. 5 that the increase in the number of working age individuals can, if fully employed in productive activities, other things being equal, result in a youth bulge becoming a demographic dividend. 'However, if a large cohort of young people cannot find employment and earn satisfactory income, the youth bulge will become a demographic bomb, because a large mass of frustrated youth is likely to become a potential source of social and political instability,' Lin warns in the posting. Signs of youth unrest are already visible in the Kashmir valley in several stone-throwing sprees lasting days and occasioning the imposition of curfews since 2008. Several hundred youth, including juveniles, are currently lodged in jails on charges of rioting that are not entirely unrelated to separatist militancy. 'These stone-throwing episodes are largely the result...
