On 7/17/2016 at approximately 1:10 am I Officer Hunter along with officer Daniel Mathis was dispatched to 1600 Indian Point Parkway in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The reporting person said that a silver mustang with several occupants had been driving around in the area near the residences at Indian Point RV park for over 10 minutes. While driving east on Indian Point Parkway I saw a silver ford mustang matching the description given by the reporting person driving south towards Gautier Vancleave road on Indian Point Parkway. At that time I turned around heading west to approach the vehicle to conduct a traffic stop for improper equipment. The vehicle did not have a functioning tag light.

At approximately 1:26 am additional units arrived on scene to assist. The additional units included Officers McQuagge, Fowler and Sergeant Bever.

I began searching the driver side compartment assisted by Officer Mathis during which time Officer Mathis located a clear plastic bag between the driver side passenger seat and the back rest. The plastic bag contained eight one gram bags of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. All occupants of the vehicle were detained and searched. The field test was conducted by sergeant Bever at which time Agent Fox with the Met team was contacted.

While searching the occupants of the vehicle Waltman had in her possession a syringe which was located in the right front pocket of her jeans. Daniels had in his possession several small one gram bags matching the bags which contained the methamphetamine. After speaking with the occupants of the vehicle Fox advised that he would like to interview them further at The Gautier Police Department. I transported Daniels and Thornton. Officer Mathis transported Fenimore and Stanfield and Officer McQuagge transported
