How does this course apply to your career plan?

Some of the results of the Career Plan Building Activities stated that I was Enterprising and Social. I find these results to be very true. Being enterprising means that I will have to learn to become a leader of sorts. I will have to learn to make important business decisions and think clearly. This coarse has taught me so much in the area of critical thinking. I now think in terms of what is best for the team or company as a whole. I have learned how to address different problems with different approaches. This coarse has taught me that determining the appropriate form of communication in each situation will most likely conclude in a better result.

Provide three examples of how the career plan activities will help you in your career.

1. I have been able to identify my strengths and weaknesses. For example, I am good at coping with pressure and adapting to change, but I need work on cooperating with teammates and co-workers. By knowing my strengths and weaknesses, I will be able to allow other co-workers take the lead in areas where I may not be the strongest. 2. The Career Plan Building Activities also gave me different career match results that I never thought of or considered before. I now realize that I may have more opportunities than I ever imagined. Perhaps in the years to come, I could look back on these results and choose a different career path. 3. I will also be able to apply my preferred lens to make decisions in the work place. For example, by knowing that my preferred lens is the Results Lens, I will be able to realize that in order to feel satisfied, I will have to do what is best for the greatest good for each individual. I have learned that I have the gift of optimism and imagination. These two values are something that I feel will be very valuable in the workplace. Who doesn’t enjoy having optimistic people around them? I would be glad to know that I would be able to brighten someone’s day just by being positive. Using “The glass is half full” approach is not only something that I enjoy to use in the workplace, but I try to apply to my personal life as well,
