Information technologies contributed to the business success of Sew What? Inc. in a variety of ways. Creating a website allowed Megan to extend her local client base. Then refreshing her site a year later she was able to increase her presence to global level and gain customers worldwide. She further improved the site by providing several custom features such as translators, fabric calculators, and useful information. These benefits solidified to Megan’s customer her commitment to providing stellar customer service and positioned her company as a leader in the entertainment industry. Megan’s use of quality computer hardware and manufacturing/accounting software allows her to run her business accurately and complete projects on time and on budget.
