Information System Briefing Introduction
In the health care organization, it is important that each facility stays on top with the latest technology that is offered so they can give the best care possible to their patients. The information system are designed to do just that so the healthcare organizations can meet the quality and standards of goals that are set for them to succeed. Implementing a information system has proven to be a intimidating process for all healthcare facilities. So, it is very important that the health care organization uses a information system that they pick so it helps them accomplish the goals that are set. It is also very important for stakeholders to be involved in implementing the information system so they know what the organizations is trying to fulfill when using it. This paper will give you a briefing on the process for selecting and acquiring an information system, how the organization's goals drive the selection of an information system, and the roles of each of the organization's stakeholders play in the selection and acquisition process.

Selecting and acquiring an information system for any health care organization starts with deciding on where the organization should start. Then the next step is to identify any problems, opportunities, and needs by analysis and planning phases which means that while during this phase we need to examine the current systems and problems in order to see any opportunities for any improvement with the information system. The next step would be the designing phase because in this phase we consider every option. It evaluates solutions so it can address any problems, in this step one makes sure all alternative solution have been considered, the analysis of cost-benefits is taking care of, a the information is selected, as well as the negotiations with the vendor are finished. Then you have implementation phase which is the phase that needs a significant amount of resources to complete task such as conducting workflow and process analyses, installing the new system, as well as test the system, teaching the staff, converting data, and preparing the organization and staff for the go-live of the new system( Wager, Lee, & Glaser, 2009,). Last is support and evaluation which changes will always have to be made nothing last forever so it is important to support and evaluate the employees, the technology, the infrastructure, and upgrades ( Wager, Lee, & Glaser, 2009,).

Learning the organization goals is something that has to be understood to never achieve because we will always be learning regardless. Which makes it a magnificent goal. And brings me to applying the knowledge of learning most of us believe learning relates to stimulus-response however it is only limited to adults(King, W. R. 1996). Other goals include communication which brings teamwork, the creation of knowledge to be shared, Identifying, developing, and nurturing the capabilities the organization needs, identifying the people and their skills that can benefit the organization, having strategic alliance and joint ventures with outsourcing providers, having a negotiation system with partnerships and providers we are outsourcing with, having organization and coordination with projects and teams, and to allow a resource structure.
Stakeholders play a important role in the process of selection and acquisition of the information system. We identify stakeholders as a person or group who hold a stake in the information system, they evaluate problems, strengths in the organization, the goals, and change in requirements and measures that concern the information system. The stakeholders all have a right to be heard each one has different standards and knowledge when it comes to selecting and acquisition the information system. Their roles are to be understandable, truthful, legit and sincere to all stakeholders. Stakeholders take action which is significant for acquisition. The stakeholder are after all the ones who decide on the information system.

Conclusion
Information system were made to better the organizations task and their goals, however picking the right one can be a hard challenge for everyone involved in the organizations information system. Steps have been established to help the organization with the decision process so they can make sure the right decision is being made when it comes to implementing the information system. The important thing for the information system is making sure it meets the organizations standards and it accomplishes the goals. Remembering to take time and research the information system before you just get it after the system is designed to help the organization succeed.
