Imagine cats all over the world dying. And for what? Something as simple as eating dog food. Now, what if there was a solution? What if there was one, special, creative, invention, that could fix that problem. One simple invention, for hundreds of cats lives. Well, I am here today, to show a solution to this problem. Are you ready to find out about an invention, that will save hundreds of cats lives? Then keep on reading. It may come as a surprise to you, but dog food is actually very poisonous to cats. According to http://www.onegreenplanet.org a cat's nutritional diet is much different than dogs. They have some dietary restrictions, for example cats require higher levels of protein than dogs. Cats must have the amino …show more content…
First, the orange peel that I rubbed on the bowl. Cats have 200 million scent receptors in their nasal cavity. Most dogs don’t have anything even close to that number. Since cats noses are so sensitive, very strong odors are distasteful. Cats are known to dislike the smell of citrus, tea tree oil, mint, lavender, and other strong smells. A cat’s nose consists of nares(which are the nostril openings), the nasal planum (which is the nose’s external bridge), the nasal cavities, and the sinuses. There are two nasal cavities separated by a bone and cartilage structure called the nasal septum. The reason I put water around the bowl stand is because it is a common trait for cats to be scared of water. One reason is because cats do not like being “waterlogged”, even though they are not being completely submerged in water, the weight of water on their fur/hair is uncomfortable for them even if it is just ⅓ up their arm. They also do not like the scent of the chemicals in the tap water. Now I will tell you about why cats are attracted to the dog food. The manufacturer’s of the cat food coat it with animal digest to make it smell more palatable. Dog food manufacturers do the same to the dog food. Animal digest is irresistible to the cat, so when the cat smells the animal digest on the dog food, they eat

...this situation sounds familiar, you may find it reassuring to know that many professionals undergo these same strange compulsions before they begin writing. Jean Kerr, author of Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, admits that she often finds herself in the kitchen reading soup-can labels—or anything—in order to prolong the moments before taking pen in hand. John C. Calhoun, vice president under Andrew Jackson, insisted he had to plow his fields before he could write, and Joseph Conrad, author of Lord Jim and other novels, is said to have cried on occasion from the sheer dread of sitting down to compose his stories. To spare you as much hand-wringing as possible, this chapter presents some practical suggestions on how to begin writing your short essay. Although all writers must find the methods that work best for them, you may find some of the following ideas helpful. But no matter how you actually begin putting words on paper, it is absolutely essential to maintain two basic ideas concerning your writing task. Before you write a single sentence, you should always remind yourself that 1. You have some valuable ideas to tell your reader, and 2. More than anything, you want to communicate those ideas to your reader. These reminders may seem obvious to you, but without a solid commitment to your own opinions as well as to your reader, your prose will be lifeless and boring. If you don’t care about your subject, you can’t very well expect anyone else to. Have confidence that your ideas are...

Why does Lewis Carroll introduce us to such oddities as a blue caterpillar who smokes a hookah, a cat whose grin remains after its head has faded away, and a White Queen who lives backward and remembers forward? Is it all just nonsense? Was Carroll under the influence? This book probes the deeper underlying meaning in the Alice books and reveals a world rich with philosophical life lessons. Tapping into some of the greatest philosophical minds that ever lived— Aristotle, Hume, Hobbes, and Nietzsche—Alice in Wonderland and Philosophy explores life’s ultimate questions through the eyes of perhaps the most endearing heroine in all of literature.
